Architectural Lighting Design

With a tightening budget, we hesitated on whether to keep a consultation with a lighting designer in the plan. Recommended by several unconnected people, including our architect, we concluded that Petra would be worth the investment. While we could choose tiles or kitchen cabinets (after much deliberation), we knew we didn’t have the experience or expertise to create a lighting plan that would reflect the atmosphere and practical requirements we wanted in our new-build house. You wouldn’t ask your carpenter to plumb your bathroom, and that’s how we now feel about lighting design. Don’t leave it to the builder or even the electrician - the lighting plan we worked on with Petra is infinitely more detailed, thoughtful and interesting than the 100+ downlights scattered throughout that we were initially presented by our builder. Petra carefully considers every aspect of your requirements and provides every light specification you need. It will cost more, but we know it will be worth every cent. We haven’t seen the finished result yet, but we have every confidence that the lighting in our new house will bring us joy every day for years to come. Thank you, Petra!
