The Shorebirds - Design & Styling

My husband and I are in the process of designing and building our forever home. It’s a project that is so important to us and so we didn’t want to get any element wrong. This is where The Shorebirds come in! From the start they have taken away all the anxiety I had around making a choice I might regret. They have been aligned to our design aesthetic and have produced the most amazing final concept for us. It takes the ideas that have been floating around in our heads and made them a reality. We have been able to visualise our choices and make adjustments along the way which I know will make for a final build we are absolutely thrilled with. I am excited to finish the process out with the girls. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Meg & Jess have just finished helping me with a holiday home renovation in the South Coast. Working & living in Sydney was going to make this impossible for me to do alone and I reached out to the Shorebirds for help. From the start to finish Meg & Jess have been professional, careful to listen to what I wanted and needed and were prepared to be flexible. The house is now finished and we couldn't be happier. Their attention to detail and vision has transformed the home. They worked well within my budget and moved the project along if I wasn't available at periods. I never once felt like a difficult customer even though the busy nature of my life meant I wasn't always easy to get hold of. Due to cut out walls, lots of windows and a huge fireplace, our living room has proved difficult regarding furniture placement and after 10 years everything looked tired. We sought the help of THE SHOREBIRDS who did a walk-through, took photos and got a general feel of the house and our needs.Not only did they present us with an advice package for the lounge area, but suggested colours for curtains, blinds and bedding in the main bedroom.The cluttered laundry was also taken into consideration.Would could not be happier with the service and advice and can only pass on our highest recommendation for these lovely, young, local women.

Jess and Meg were recommended by our builders after we were struggling to incorporate our own style into our Architect's plans. We had a few ideas put together from Pinterest but finding it really difficult and highly stressful making decisions. We needed help to make sure our individual ideas flowed harmoniously throughout the home. Jess and Meg made the experience so simple, they were able to work with our style, made some awesome suggestions and made sure each room complemented the next. The Shorebirds designed our kitchen, they were happy to make a few simple changes at our request and assisted with design and colour ideas for the rest of the house. On a friends recommendation I got in touch with Jess & Meg from The Shorebirds, I’m so glad I did! I’m early stages of planning a major renovation and had a hundred ideas in my head but confused with how it would all come together. Jess & Meg have visited my house, taken a lot of photos and listened to my ideas then gone away and developed a fantastic concept plan with not only my ideas, but some very clever concepts that I would not have thought about. This was presented to me in a very thorough room by room layout that is very detailed and easy to understand, this has given me a game plan to follow.
