My daughter only touched the hairbrush on the stand a few times and we were forced to pay for it! I suggest they put a bigger notes for DO NOT try the brush instead of putting it at the entrance with small size of notes. The lady said it was $7 when it was actually $15. They even cut off the price so we could not see the original price at all!

Have been getting my hair cut for years at The Cross Cut by the same person. She does it the way I want it, not always trying to sell me expensive products or treatments. Very happy with the service I receive.

I've been having a lot of trouble finding a reliable hair dresser that I like but I think I hit the jackpot. I walked in and they saw me straight away which was impressive seeing as it was close to lunch so I thought I'd have to come back.The part that impresssed me the most was that the hair dresser sat me down for a 5min conversation about what I wanted, my hair history and he gave me some tips in styling and looking after it.In all I was very happy with my haircut and will be returning. It wasn't the cheapest place I've seen, but seeing as some places in the city quote $65+ for a trim it was reasonably priced and the service made up for it.

Ladies, ask for THI. She gave me beautiful layer cut and was so polite,very experienced and professional.Definitely coming back for a haircut from her.

I got a bad haircut. I usually come here because they do a good job. But last time they didn't seem to understand I was asking for a lot off the top. I said it was fine at the time because I was hungry. I wasn't shown the back of my head and when I got home I saw it was not at all blended properly and there was a big weight line that looked awful. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. The other place was also cheaper. 2 stars instead of 1 because other haircuts have been good.

Last week, I called into the salon for a shampoo and style cut. I was warmly greeted by Management and staff, who booked my appointment for later that day.Tee was my stylist. She was friendly and professional, and did a superb job.I usually attend Cross Cut Elizabeth due to their proximity, but had no hesitation in this instance in attending their city salon.Management and all staff were welcoming and accommodating to my needs. Highly recommended.

We took our 2 year old son here . He is not a fan of having his hair cut and I struggled to get him to sit still like any 2 year old would be, the lady cutting did an amazing job in the circumstances but a man glaring from afar who I assumed was the owner shouted over to us that they would not finish the cut if he wouldn’t sit still. I understand he was worried that he might get hurt but I found him rude, not understanding and embarrassing. I was already trying everything I could to get my son to sit still and it was stressful enough. After the lady had finished the cut she approached the man at the counter who asked her if she was ok and whispered something to her which I found extremely unprofessional, if anything he should have been asking us if we were ok after dealing with a stressed out child, also I think that the conversation/whispering with the hairdresser could have waited until we left the store! Don’t take your children here if they are fussy having their hair cut, it is not a child friendly hairdressers!

Cross cut do a fantastic job. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Been going to Cross Cut for many many years
