Boost On Tap

I'm using the TBV-60-2 Valve.Finally got the Turbo Bypass Valve fitted up on my Territory Turbo, it is impressive and really wakes it up.My engine is much more responsive, torque kicks in earlier and the engine revs quicker.Previously I used to experience quite a bit of lag and staggering when launching hard from a stand still, the reduced lag is also noticeable when kicking down at speed.Since installing the turbo bypass valve the engine revs faster and doesn't completely rely on building boost.I have also noticed when you give the engine a rev the valve will open and you can hear the air being drawn through it, allowing the engine to breath easier and bypassing the restriction created by the turbo and intercooler when transitioning from vacuum to boost. This also provides more air to the engine to help spool up the turbo.When I contacted Boost On Tap, Guntherwas very helpful and knowledgeable and was happy to answer my questions.I was informed that his bypass valves go through stringent testing to ensure they don't hinder boost in any way, samples are tested for more than a million cycles.Hands down, this product would have to be the easiest bang for buck performance upgrade on the market.

I own a Ford Territory turbo Ghia, and I found out from a friend about this product. From there I purchased a kit.Gunther from Boost on Tap was very friendly and welded and fitted the bypass valve to the inlet pipe.I fitted it to my car myself well over year and a half ago.With the valve fitted for the first time, I reversed it out of the driveway and it just responded so much better.And when I went for a drive and gunned it, it was an animal - the turbo just boosted way more than before.The car has been awesome to drive every time - you plant the foot - it just goes.I need to get a built gear box done soon, as it has a safe tune in it to keep the gear box alive. It is slow out of the hole due to the tune, but once you are moving you plant the foot and it launches.I upgraded the inlet plenum with a Nizpro one. Gunther refitted the valve for me to the new piping.I have a remote pod filter which I mounted behind the bumper - this was a kit I also got off Gunther.I had to get 2-inch piping to hook it all up but it works well, it keeps the air intake temps down.Off the line when you plant it you can hear the intake roaring sound.I would recommend this to anyone!The one I have on the box is TBV-60-2 weld on 3 inch. The filter is a different kit.Really happy with it had no problems - love it.Wayne Softley

Fitted a boost on tap valve to my wife's Holden turbo trax. Wow I'm very impressed less lag, better response basically more grunt. Thanks guys it works so well.
