We met some some friendly staff and locals and enjoyed the great location the ceasar salad was the best and steak sandwich worth a mention too Cheers Ange and Peter

Place should be prepared for long weekends and public holidays. No staff. Service was slow. Tables weren't being cleaned. An hour and fifteen mins for meals to come. Food was the only good part.

We ate here recently for lunch on Sunday and the food was great. Lovely cosy atmosphere and staff were very friendly. Will be back again. Would highly recommend.

Enjoyed the food. Service was pretty good. Had a minor issue with one meal but staff bent over backwards to fix it. Mistakes happen, it's how they respond that matters in the end and they were great.

Awesome pub meals and generous servings. Courteous staff. Live entertainment most Saturdays. Do not miss out , drop in for a drink or five in your travels you won't regret it. Proprietors Dave and Karen are most welcoming.

We have just spent 3 night here. The room is small but really clean and the bed is very comfortable. The food is brilliant and great sized for the priced. The atmosphere in the pub is friendly and the drinks were great. Sitting outside was also really good. Will happily stay here again..!Great job Karen..!!

Dinner two nights in a row with good basic food home cooked vegetable and steak cooked to perfection. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend it.

Big serves and friendly staff, but we waited an hour for our meals when they weren't that busy. The bar person was apologetic but it was still a long wait. I ordered the fisherman's basket which was good value but the batter was very heavy and had soaked up a lot of oil. My partner's steak was very good though...cooked medium as ordered. The chips were average. If I had to guess based on the chips and my batter...the oil in the deep fryer wasn't hot enough and/or needed replacing.
