Small space with great (and authentic) borek in Rosebery. We had the second breakfast option and an extra borek for two people, which was sufficient food. Spinach and cheese borek was excellent, as was the feta and parsley. Let’s not forget the sucuk and eggs. Will be back.

This place is a gem. Turkish Borek, the rose borek and water borek are great. The rose borek is crispy in the outside, nice filling combos -try mixed if you cant make up your mind, the meat, sucuk, feta and greens combo has you covered. The water borek is layers of pastry boiled in water then cooled and layered with parsley and feta and baked again. Sydney has numerous burek places with the Macedonian variety which are flakier and softer but different compared to the rose borek which is less focus on the layers and has a singular crispy outside - very different. Have it with ayran, a yoghurt based drink goes well with it. The owners are lovely, nice people. Street traffic on Gardeners road is pretty terrible on the weekend so if you can't avoid that stretch of road be ready to exercise your patience. Worth it though.
