Was in the area so decided to randomly stop for a coffee. I was not disappointed. Coffee was amazing. Their croissants were so fluffy and delicious! Richard was so friendly and welcoming. 100/10 will come again.

A local cafe for artisanal, authentic, and traditional French baked goods. I've tried their baguettes, sourdough doughnuts, and hot chocolate, and I can confidently say that each one of these was made to the highest standard, filling me up with joy and contentment. Unlike many half-heartedly operating cafes, Rustic Artisan distinguishes itself with dedicated quality ingredients, and painstakingly designed recipes.Their food is quite filling and somewhat heavy (those that I have ordered), would be even nicer if some menu items are customisable! (e.g butter on the side, add avocado, less olive oil in salad, etc)

Wow wow wow. Can't even begin to describe how tasty the food is here! Perfectly cooked baguettes and sourdough. The pork baguette is a must try. Richard and Lucia are so friendly and even gave us a sample of one of their pizzas! A true hidden gem.

What a find this was! Richard was an excellent host and understanding a late breakfast arrival on a Sunday. The kitchen was still pumping out food despite selling out some of their high demand luxuries (note, go on a Saturday so you can get some their sausages). We got the Italiano Breakfast (tomatoes and eggplant was the highlight!) and a Marie Claire croissant. Out the whole meal, the sourdough loaf we got on the side was the highlight. Can’t find anything better here in Australia! Please keep this up, your refinement of your ingredients is truly a work of art!

The pork baguette was delicious, you can see a lot of love and thoughts was put into making it - the marinated roast pork and the dressing makes it stands out from other banh mi.However, the coffee honestly needs lots more attention - everything from the brew, milk:espresso ratio, to the frothing of the milk. It was really below average which was very disappointing.

Great food! Great people.The food offered was amazing, with reasonable price.Super friendly owner.But the Coffee quality was not up to Melbourne standard.If you are after a great meal, this is definitely the place to be, but maybe have coffee elsewhere.
