Worst Experience Ever. Paid 49 for the cake and requested them to write HBD ……. and they wrote as Hbd. Like Really? There were three people working inside and none of them was at the counter? Is this Cheesecake Darwin? Surely Not Coming back here. This is just a way of ripping people being a monopoly in the Market.

I had the most amazing birthday cake, i was a little bit nervous because i have never tried rainbow cake, but it was totally worth it! full of flavour, rich, creamy, moist, all things you want on a birthday cake, could not recommend it enough, thanks Cheesecake Shop Gateway!!

Went in to order a cheesecake for Fathers Day and the staff had no idea what to do, she said we are not taking orders. Intresting, there is a sign in the shop that says Taking orders for Fathers Day

We visited our local cheesecake shop today to buy a cake. The young girl provided great customer service, she was kind, polite and very helpful. The cake looks delicious and we can't wait to give it a try.

Extremely friendly staff. Cakes were fresh and delicious. Good to see all the cake ranges available in the store. Palmerston Cheesecake shop is located in the Gateway shopping centre.

Went in Tuesday said I wanted a large Candylane cake like the smaller one in the window for Friday- girl said normally needed a week for an order but would keep the smaller one if it couldn't be done - came in this morning - no one was told about my order - give us 20 minutes we will create a large one for you - the one I wanted was gone ,replaced by the most pathetic version of a cake - now I have the larger version- and they had all day to create as I said I'd come back - it's literally taken them the 20 minutes before I got there it's that BAD.Told the girl who served me had there been a change of baker ,she just ignored me and pretended to not understand.Happy 18th son ,sorry but NEVER AGAIN will I come to this store.

Awful experience! NEVER coming back! Absolutely rude customer service! My sister went in to pick up a cheesecake for my daughters 1st birthday and upon arrival she asked to collect the cake and that we had a gift voucher and a $5 coupon to use. The lady didn’t know how to do this and got someone who could, she spoke to my sister as if she’s a child and she did something wrong. Her worker saw my sister redeem the voucher in front of her like she asked than lectured her that she needed to do it in front of the both of them! And also said that my gift voucher that just had the pin peeled there, that it was empty balance.. when it had never been used. She said “I’ll do it for u this one time” “ and that she needed to let them know as soon as she arrives about the vouchers” (which she did) excuse me! We did nothing wrong and my sister did not deserve to be spoken to in that way! I’m sure im sugar coating a lot of it…and if you lot stuff up on your end do not project that anger towards us! Thank youAnd ps the cheese cake does not look good at all, looks very rushed and unappealing.

I purchased two different cakes from Gateway Palmerston store and started to eat one of them only to see that mold was already growing on the top. At first I thought it must be flour or something, but no it was definitely mold. I contacted the store afterwards but manager not available, I have since sent 3 separate emails to this store with photos and not one reply has been received. I won’t be returning to this store again.

The cakes were amazing, great staff great service would return again
