Quite tricky to pass the driving test at this centre, it is easy to miss the stop sign as it is mostly behind the bush and far from the kerb, plus a big pothole next to it, i got a fail mark by trying to avoid it with the reason that I didn't position my car properly when turning. The potholes around Warners bay are highly distracting as some drivers seem to fail the test at the first seconds when leaving the centre. A driving instructor said this issue has been happening for years at this centre. Passed my first go at Wallsend.

In and out so quick at a time that would be busiest. Didn't even have time to sit down. Had lots of staff taking care of things. Friendly service too.

I had the best experience I have ever had at a service NSW place today. The concierge was right on the ball. PIP the lovely lady who served us was by far the most amazing person Who honestly went above and beyond to make sure she done everything she could to ensure we got the outcome we wanted,. Her motivation and willingness to do more than expected left us speechless she isalso exceptionally switched on! Highly recommend this service centre!All staff members I encountered on this day were awesome BUT PIP your truly AMAZING ❤️❤️

A relative of mine, who’s faced extreme adversity and heartbreak during her life was trying to get her P’s to see a stepfather on the other side of the country who was dieing of cancer, the relative failed her P’s test for something I perceive as incredibly trivial.Due to the two week wait before you can book again her step father died before she could visit him.The staff also started an incident with me when I walked into the building with my DSLR on a gorilla pod, turned off and facing to the floor, a concierge approached me after the centre failed the relative and told me that I could not film in that space. - I replied, “does it look like the cameras on?”

This branch gets an extra star only because the staff are always great at the entrance. That’s where it ends. I’ve had to come here twice now and these people just simply do not know what they’re doing. When my husband changed his licence into NSW the girl wasn’t sure if he would be able to drive a manual car on his full licence because in VIC he did his P test in an automatic… well this is a NSW licence he is applying for so NSW rules apply??? The fact that she had to ask three other people who also didn’t know just smells of untrained staff.I then went again to change my car rego to NSW and the girl was great but then her supervisor refused to accept the dealership receipt as proof of ownership when the service NSW website clearly states that this is sufficient evidence. Absolutely wasted my time. Do not understand what is going on in this branch!? What’s the point of the information on the website If the staff aren’t going to follow their own website? Ridiculous.

The most unsatisfying experience i have ever encountered, i purchased a car and the seller had trouble with NSW service online system to lodge the disposal. After all that i went in to hand in the hard copy, there was one word crossed out on the form and they rejected it, no other avenues were made clear to me or any problem solving. Extremely poor service and will never be returning. Extremely disappointed in the customer service i received

I recently found myself in an awkward position discovering that Service NSW had ceased their 'preferred name' policy way back in 2006 despite automatic drivers licence renewals in my preferred name instead of legal name as per their database. On my second visit to sort this matter, lovely PIP with a radiantly cheerful face and kind smile stepped in to patiently and expertly guide me thru the process. When I returned for the final time with all the necessary documentation, Pip resolved the matter efficiently and left me with Olga to complete the paperwork to reissue the licence at no charge. Olga was friendly and sympathetic and also a pleasure to deal with. Both these employees are an asset to Service NSW.

The service Centre takes the covid safety measures pretty seriously, which is good. One of the conditions of entry was that I have “Service NSW” app installed in my smartphone before I can set foot into the place. I found that a bit odd. Customer service was pretty clear and easy, anyways.
