Poor experience for a simple dinner order. We were visiting Lithgow and saw this nice looking Mexican food place. Google shows the place is open till 8pm; we ordered at 7 and asked if we could eat in. They mentioned they are looking to close soon so ‘No’. They were out of beans; I ordered a burrito bowl and at the time of payment the girl at the counter said they have no cutlery - no one mentioned at the time of placing the order. When I tried to complain as to how are the customers are supposed to eat burrito bowl without cutlery, she simply ignored and said she doesn’t care how we manage it. We were just visiting the town and gives a really shabby experience for tourists. I’ll definitely give it a miss due to poor management.

Went into Zambreros Lithgow today at around 1:30pm and was served by a bubbly, friendly young blonde girl. We didn’t get her name but she had amazing customer service skills and deserves some praise! Food was also delicious. 10/10 would come back here again if we were passing through the area!

So firstly in a super cool stone church conversion, boom points for being a great location. It was clean & cosy ended up taking my MacBook in & checking emails making a few calls because it was so cosy. Had a lamb burrito, shamwow!! meat was delicious ingredients was fresh & sauces were zing tasty. Really enjoyed my pitstop. Yep I will definitely be chowing down again at Zambrero.

Beautiful shop in an old sandstone church. Blink and you would miss it but you would miss out on a great feed.
