Very difficult to fault this lovely place. Great, clean rooms - all refurbished, fabulous food and Mark and Phil went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. Thank you.

The Riverside Hotel has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.Great staff, the owners are quick with a joke or smile and the meals are fantastic...so is the coffee if your driving through.Not to mention the magnificent view of the river from the dining room!A must visit in Tailem Bend.

Lovely view, fairly extensive menu with specials board, salad and veg bar. Food and service were very good.

Do not stop here on your way home to adelaide! We had to wait over an hour for our meals! After an hour we asked the waitress if she could please check on our meals, she was polite, apologised and told us they will be coming soon, we thanked her. After this the manager came and told us it was our fault for not booking in the back section because the front bar (which also doesnt require bookings) was very busy. Not impressed.

A country pub with good service, friendly staff and a comprehensive menu. The meals were well put together and emerged from the kitchen very quickly. Kids pizza was over done but the main meals were exactly what we were after.

A nice place with nice staff. We were greeted very nicely and professionally. The Riverside deserves top marks for the staff.The bed was comfortable and being the only option my father and I had, we had to share a double bed, but we didn't notice each other's movements during the night. Could have been because we had been driving all day from Coober Pedy.The loss of a star is because someone had bled on the carpet, and it wasn't a small one, and it still showed. It should have been cleaned better.The rooms were OK, but a little old. The bathroom and toilets were very dated and tiny. I had to squeeze into the urinal area as it was quite tight. Ok, I'm not a small person, but not the biggest either. I joked with dad saying that if was drunk, I couldn't fall over lol.I use a walking stick and had trouble with the stairs, and would have preferred to sleep on the ground floor, or have an elevator.The price was reasonable.I would stay there again, but I would check other places first, and I wouldn't be upset if I had to stay again.

Myself and my partner have been meaning to come here every time we go camping at the near by campping grounds. Yummy food followed by friendly staff and the manager. Pre quite but managed to get a few games of pool in.Will be coming back again.

Will enjoy. Would you believe they have schnitzels here. Both chicken and or beef. Couldn't believe it. And with MY choice of topping. Wowser... really impressive. Will be telling mum, for sure...
