Farm Butchery Service

Roy has been to our property 3 times. Last weekend we processed 15 lambs.There is no other service out there that packages the meat as Roy can. His skill as a butcher is 5 star, the cuts of meat are perfectly presented. Roy's Cryovac machine is of the best quality and his refrigerated trailer and equipment is thoroughly clean.Roy is very respectful to the animals during the process, and he understands some farmers find the slaughter day very difficult. ******* Best on site butcher ever!! Since 2006, we've both sent animals to the abattoirs and have had them processed here. Roy (& apprentice Max) were the most professional, hygienic , honest, and genuinely the nicest butchers we've had here. From helping to load the tractor bucket, to explaining and processing to our fussy requirements, they boned out, bagged, cryovaced, and weighed each portion with a machine that spat out a label stating the cut and weight. We have used Roy and his crew twice now and have been absolutely wrapped with the results. The time and care Roy took with our steer last week was a credit to him as a person. This was so important to us as our steer was almost a pet to us. The quality of his butchery is the best I’ve seen over the years. He not only asks what we want, he gives advice based on his many years of experience and wealth of knowledge. Today the team was back for butchering. Our steer carcass hanging weight weight was 323kgs. I was astounded just how much meat Roy managed to get from this. Well over 250kgs of prime beef. So much meat that we completely filled two 360 litre freezers! Nothing went to waste. Roy and his teams hygiene is impeccable and the packaging is supermarket quality, vacuum sealed and labels with the cut type and weight. His coolroom and equipment are all so clean and new.If you’re looking for an on site butcher, don’t think twice about using Roy. I could not recommend him highly enough. Roy is very knowledgeable based on his extensive experience and the quality of his work. Starting all the way from preparation to packaging of the meat. I would highly recommend this service to anyone with livestock. Roy and Trina are the nicest people you could ever meet and together provide a fantastic service. My grandpa has hired them multiple times and they are always on time, on the ball, and are down to earth people. Extremely affordable and efficient, there is no suffering for the animals.
