Excellent free camp close to the beach. 650mtr to the pub and shops. Must be fully self contained as there are no facilities. Some caravaners parallel park so take up 2 plus spaces. Would like to see signage for no parallel parking. Potable water available down on the jetty.

We got done by the ranger for putting water on the ground, got a fine for $125 bucksWe had contained all our grey water and had unhooked our pipe for travel, my kids rinsed their Rice Bubble bowls and about 3-5 Rice Bubbles landed on the ground. God forbid. The ranger didn’t want to listen or look at our grey water setup just gave us a fine. Be careful

We are blessed to have hopetoun provide us with free 72 hour parking for RVs and Caravans. It is directly off a road but not many cars go by in late April.Rubbish bins provided and the nice clean beach is directly behind. Shops and Jetty walking distance including public toilets. Must beselfcontained.

Great central spot, simply a spot on the side of the road, but near the beach and shops.A tad small on big holidays and fills up, quick.Park your car on the other side of the road so there is more space for vans.Caution, there is some soft spots on the open eastern side, take care when/if turning in a 2WD camper.

Small size free rest area with maximum stay of 48 hrs.It is a narrow strip of sand where people can park. No electricity, No wifi, No toilet or shower. Public toilet or shower is 7 mins walk away.Beach is beautiful but much more choppy and big waves. No grey water allowed and dump site is about 5 mins drive away.Town is close by, about 10 mins walk.Because of the small size of this site, it is tricky to find a space. There’s a ranger about . Dog friendly but only in leach.Being beside the road, surprisingly quiet after dark and had a restful night.

Zero facilities, just a car park with dead grass, can't let your grey water into the grass to save it, no, that's not manners is it. Ranger does his best to intimidate guests, likes to park opposite and eyeball everyone he can for extended periods of time. There are facilities in town just not where they say. Can only get water from the kids Park not the Jetty. The free camping area is full of entitled folk who do their best to spread out as much as they can so no one camps near them. And then those that do the right thing wind up crammed in. Which is fine if everyone is respectful. Beach is close if you're in the middle where we squeezed in next to a motorhome, shortly after we squeezed in a Vanlifer squeezed in between us and the motorhome. I'm sure we'll become best friends. Do not bring your kids here unless they are road safe, you are basically on the road and locals, campers alike speed past all day. It's meant to be 50kph they are going faster than that.
