Matty's Meats

Today, I received the worst service I have ever had. I am in shock for how badly I was treated.I asked for beef bones to make a stock out of. The lady who served me kept refusing to sell them to me, saying they would make me sick and gagged so much that she asked someone else to finish serving me. Gagging at me like that was humiliating. The next person was also rude and eventually told me that they are for dogs only because they are old meat.Old meat will make dogs sick, just as it would humans.They were not immediately clear that the meat was old and were really rude how they went about serving me. I will never be going back to this place.

Whole briskets located at Matty's Meats! Not easy to find whole briskets around the 5-6kg. I had many questions which where answered by the butcher working out the back which was great. And the other meat I bought was good quality fresh butcher's meat which I don't reckon you get at the major supermarkets

Very poor and disturbing service. I came today and ordered 1 kilo of pork strips, the butcher out back offered if we wanted them cut, I said yes in half...then he asks did you want 6 or 12 ? I just wanted them cut in half?Iike how am I supposed to know how many strips in a kilo ?As he looks at me stupid?2ndly the bloke on front counter ask if we needed anything else, I said we need 1 kilo of plain beef rissoles.. his reply was there all beef ? Theres only 3 flavours on display which are ( garlic & herbs , Plain beef and another flavour which I can't remember) the bloke clearly doesn't know his own menu... He than says half a kilo you wanted ? I repeated twice as he finally comes to sense what's needed.... EVEN WORSE HE GRABS THE BEEF RISSOLES WITH NO GLOVES. Disgusting and no common sense at this place.....They weren't the same people who I normally deal with. Will be going woolies across from them if I see them working.

Staff were super lovely and warm, the butcher out the back was especially knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. Great quality meat and very reasonably priced! Will definitely be continuing to buy my meat here instead of going across to Woolies.

Feeling ripped off so won't be back. Haven't tried the chops yet and didn't get the ones I pointed to because he got some from out the back rather than upset display. That's ok but Mini-roasts were predominantly stuffing with very little chicken! Also he asked whether I wanted to pay cash or card, I asked did it make any difference, no card is fine, then I get slugged about 1.5% card fee! Not happy, and no, everybody" doesn't do it especially big $ fresh food suppliers."

I moved to the area two years ago this butcher shop meat is amazing have been happy with all purchases.Staff are all extremely helpful the rump roast I bought today was delicious.

Mini Roasts, Maximum stuffing. Theres no meat, id say 80% stuffing and that's being generous, had to throw most of the stuffing away as it was just bland, would definitely not recommend the Mini Roasts to anyone.Also not a big deal but thought I'd mention it, a surcharge on eftpos, there was no mention of it anywhere.Customer service was very good.

Logan born and bred, for all of you needing quality meat around Beenleigh, ya gotta go to this butcher..Awesome value for us salad shy mobs!

By far the best butcher/meat around!! I will make the commute down from Brisbane - Beenleigh just to get meat from Matty’s Meats!! Staff are super friendly & I had the pleasure of meeting Matty himself & his knowledge on meat was next level!! Highly recommended!!
