To be fair 2.5 stars is not available. I rang up and spoke with someone who couldn't help me with servicing my mower and couldn't help with anything I asked about my mower. It almost felt like he didn't want to take the call. I was told to throw the model I have away as there are no more parts available. This is fine, no issue here as I'm aware how old my mower is, however it might be nice if you offered a solution as opposed to an ordinary display of customers service.

I took in a mower disc and blades to be replaced from a old lawn mower. The day before I took this to another mower store which I will keep un named and they advised they could not get the bolts off to the blades. They advised me I would need to purchase a new mower.I dropped this off to Gary at 11 am and received this back on the same day at 2pm and was charged a very very small fraction of the cost of a new mower

Pretty rude to deal with over the phone! I called up to ask a question about getting my mower repaired (if they do call outs), he said no, but then I had more questions about another mower I had to bring in and in the middle of me talking he just said “bye” and hung up! I guess I won’t be using this place to get any of my mowing or gardening equipment repaired or serviced! Sorry buddy, you only get one star from me for my first experience with your business.

This guy knows the meaning of local service with a pleasant and easy going attitude. Not only does he know his trade, he has great attitude to go with it. Sylvania has a handful of great retail owners and Gary is one of them.
