The Falls Montville

My Husband and I have stayed at The Falls 3 times over the years, and have never been disappointed! We love the property - its charm and beauty and Alan and his Wife are such a delight! Highly recommended for that perfect, special getaway. Thank you guys!

recently stayed a number of nights at the falls Montville, loved the accommodation clean, warm spacious self contained room, fireplace, spa, deck, kitchette. the staff were very friendly and help full, always willing to go the extra mile. good local knowledge from walking tracks to restraunts to eat at.highly recommend will be returning.

The good, the bad and the uglyMy husband and I booked and paid for the honeymoon package for our anniversary as to us it was the most appealing package with everything inclusive and we thought we’d go all out and treat ourselves.The room (tamarind cottage) was beautiful, clean and inviting. Actually probably one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed in.However what was supposed to be a beautiful, relaxing getaway turned out to be far from it. The customer service was very lack lustre especially considering the amount of money that was spent. Which the owner completely forgot we’d already paid in full in advance. Although he was very friendly, he also lacked finesse, never once in our time here did he dress the part for front of house.We were forgotten on numerous occasions throughout our stay which included $100 dinner voucher, bbq hamper, cheese platter, breakfast, transfers, massages and more.Upon arrival no dinner reservations had been made, which he rectified promptly. The vehicle we were driven in was absolutely filthy, our dinner voucher was forgotten (we were reimbursed $100 cash the following morning).The following day was ruined from the start, our massages were booked in for 10am (2/3pm would have been the ideal time to allow us to relax and unwind for the duration of the afternoon/evening) the ladies were fantastic. The cheese platter arrived at the same time, lacked imagination. A plate full of several cheeses as expected but filled in with salami variants.After our massages we went out exploring the beautiful little towns of montville and Maleny only a short drive away. Upon our arrival back at The Falls we were greeted by the owner (2pmish) We were told at this point our bbq was almost prepared and would be dropped off around 5pm.This did not occur, we were pretty hungry by the time it arrived at 6.30pm, well past our usual dinner prep time. Having to at this point wait for the Weber bbq to then heat up before cooking would have meant 7.30/8 before we’d even get a bite. Instead we found our own way to a place called Woodfired (don’t waste your time, oven cooked pizza).Now the bbq hamper itself left a lot to be desired. What did we get? 2 chicken drumettes, 2 thin slices of pork loin, 2 chicken kebabs, 2 sausages, 3 mushrooms and 2 cuts off beef which I’m pretty sure was gravy beef.The supplied breakfast was amazing though. A good supply of bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato, cereals, fruit, yummy juice and yoghurt. The only thing missing was sausage. Oh and the fresh bread was sensational tooOverall the company was awesome but I certainly wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We recently spent 2 nights in this wonderful accommodation.....it was truly delightful from our arrival to our departure. The hosts, Alan & Aryna are super friendly sharing local knowledge to help you get the most out of your stay. Alan drove us to our restaurant of choice for dinner & arranged return transport ..a great treat!The cabins surpassed expectations with beautiful personal touches such as carafe of port and delicious chocolates awaiting us, vases of fresh roses, bubble bath and luxurious robes for the spa, relaxing music at our finger tips. Breakfast was yummy with supplies sourced locally....freshly baked croissants and danishes discreetly delivered to your door...what more could you want!! Well...original oil paintings in the room...painted by Aryna's mother....truly beautiful!!We will certainly return to this beautiful retreat next time we are looking to relax and treat ourselves. Absolutely loved a weekend in the manor house with friends recently. Keen to come back and try one of the cabins.

Blissfully perfect stay. Allan and Aryna are the most amazing hosts. This was our second stay with them and will be definitely be back for more. If you are after a tranquil setting, attentive hosts that attend to all the extra details and go above and beyond to make your stay special, then this is the place stay

A quite place to unwind and relax.The hosts are both lovely people who are very accommodating and love a good chat. The private cabins are set in the forest some with a view of the vallley. The cabins are well presented and very clean on both occasions we have stayed here.

This is the best! The best hosts Alan and Aryna! Amazing service, so many inclusions, from bubbles, roses, cheese and massages. Chocolates, breakfast, wow they really put on the best experience ever! I give this place 10/5 and I will tell everyone I know. We needed to relax and we certainly did!!! Thank you Jay & Rod

Absolutely wonderful spot. Beautiful cottages, with luxurious fireplace and spa bath. Port on the table, a hamper of local fruit and breakfastables on arrival :). The hosts are lovely, dropping off fresh danishes every morning. Will definitely be back.

Spoil your self and/or someone you love at this beautiful rainforest hideaway.The cabins are clean, spacious and well-appointed. We loved the special touches like vases of fresh roses, good port and quality chocolates.The bed was super comfortable and the spa was lovely.Our hosts really made our time with them memorable and looked after us so well. Charming and helpful doesn't begin to describe how integral they were to the enjoyment of our stay. Thanks so much Alan and Aryna - we loved every second with you. ❤We will be back any time we need to rest and recharge❤
