I Stayed at COT on two occasions only to find bed bugs and to be extensively bitten. I quietly and respectfully alerted staff on both occasions. I refused to pay the $70 fee for the room on the second occasion only to be verbally abused and told not to come back. I am not writing this review out of spite I am writing to warn people that not only is there bed bugs but also disgusting filthy stained mattresses that are not even fit for a dog to lay on. This has been reported to council, but do yourself a favour STAY AWAY . COT standard have truly dropped, pay the extra and go somewhere else.

It's not an amazing resort.. But the staff here are amazing. The rooms are not at all soundproof.. Pretty sure I heard someone 3 rooms away fart. But the staff and the beautiful old heritage style make up for it. Im pretty sure the managers name is spider.. He is a aussie character! God blimey he is a top bloke. He greeted everyone in the morning by name. I bet he knows where the bet parmys are. Haha I would stay here again.. Not for the accommodation.. But just to hang out with old mate spider!

Excellent location in a beautiful old building, quite literally in the centre of town. Room was small but tidy, with a bar fridge, TV, air con and ceiling fan. A basic breakfast of cereal, toast and some fruit provided the next morning. If you love historical charm then I would highly recommend, however if you're looking for all of the mod cons then maybe stay elsewhere.

Great place with excellent staff! After a long day of driving in 40 degree heat, I phoned up to book a room. Annette was lovely and even put the air-con on for me for when I arrived. Affordable, clean and quiet.

Alright, so this is an awesome place if you have to stay for 1 or 2 nights. We chose the 50$ room. The only negative thing with that room is that its pretty small and it has no air con. But we were told before, so we knew our deal. There was a fan in the room though. Breakfast is included. Basic, but will do.Wifi was pretty fast.

Top notch place. A lot cheapeer than everywhere else and clean. Get the $60 room with a/c in place of the basic room. Bathrooms, which were clean, are down the hall but so what. An old fashioned joint with great period fittings and a good feel right down to the creaking stairs. It's a real unspoiled gem.Nanette the woman who met me couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.

Passing thru and only needed a bed. Lovely old former hotel. Room was clean, had A/C and continental breakfast in dining room for total price of $50. . Shared facilities were clean. Nice balcony looking onto street and a lounge area with TV. Awesome value for money.

Stayed for one night on our way home from our holiday.. Owners were great, Very friendly and welcoming. The place was beautifully clean! Until we stepped into our room i was nearly chocking on the smell of air freshener and had to open the window. The bed was not great, Which dissapointed me as its a bed" & breakfast Hoped for something a little more comfortable. Breakfast offered there was a great variety but we dont really eat breakfast so gave it miss. Love the lockup parking that was a bonus! Toilets were a little dark in the cubical. Price was great nice and affordable. Overall lovley place just wish the bed wasnt as hard."

Do Not Book Here.. ourselves and another couple turned up and both of our rooms were given to other guests. Spider was useless sending us to open other doors with guests in them and gave us the run around for 30min on the phone. We both had driven 900kms and 700kms _ arrived at midnight as agreed and clearly guests and drinkers from on the balcony outside other people's rooms were using them. Keys were in the doors and people were in the beds!! Don't bother or you too may have to sleep in a rest area with 2 kids thanks to Spider Cunningham.
