Mitcham Memorial Library
Would give five stars because it’s a really nice library but it closes at 2pm on a Friday! It’s rubbish! Many school kids are let down after school on Fridays when they come to discover that the library they were hoping to complete their work in peace and quiet is closed. It should be changed to 9-5 on all week days, as weekdays should be consistent.

Mitcham Memorial Library
This library is outstanding in its service and holistic care of its employees and patrons. I travel here with my children from the hills and we are always greeted with a warm smile and they help me with getting the toys and books to the car. The sensory garden is beautiful and my kids love playing outdoors on the grass and rocky river bed. They also feature local artists in the entry way which I love on my way in to borrow some of my favourite books on Chinese elemental wisdom to the physics of trains. Wow! Thank you Mitcham Memorial Libray.

Good place to study, although they always have music playing which is distracting. And, the staff started a vacuuming mid-afternoon (3 hours before closing time). I thought library's were meant to be quiet!?!?!?

Beautiful reno and kind, helpful staff- my only critique would be the section next to the seated adult study area is a large empty passageway. At least 4 kids run down this with top speed every hour which can be really distracting.

A fantastic library.A great selection of books, magazines, toys and games to borrow.Great workstations to get your homework or work project done.A very comfortable and welcoming place.The staff are very friendly and helpful.
