AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL. Despite the beautiful lake, this was one of the worst campsites I have ever been to. The toilets were so grim that you couldn't use them. They came to clean the showers but didn't bother with the toilets. It was really busy with campers so that's a lot of people peeing in the bush. All around the lake were people partying. The noise of vehicles coming and going went on all night and there was music and motorbike exhausts popping. The only good thing was the view and that no-one came to collect the $15 charge.

Very nice camp spot, can get windy but this region is known for that. That's why there as plenty of wind farms.Good shower and toilet facilities and town water.A donation of up to ten dollars per day is encourage if you use the facilities. Showers are operated by a token system. They can be purchased from the General store or Info centre

Nice spot, well serviced by mostly volunteers. Clean toilets/showers and town water available.Donation is recommended if you use the facilities, not too much to ask.Can get a bit windy and does have a few Midgies.

Excellent place for a free campsite, plenty of room for tents and big rigs. Lake bottom is sandy and access to the beach is very easy in a lot of spots. But when the wind blows, goodness me it blows hard. People had awnings and tents blown over or away, funny yet tragic. Be aware of the wind and you will have a great time.

Beautiful area, plenty of spaces to camp with fire pits, evenly distributed for privacy. It’s summer, so expect a lot of bugs although I didn’t really get bitten. There’s also a nice breeze throughout the day. There’s a shallow area for kids to swim in and several shaded spots for fishing. Toilet facilities were locked and instructions unclear when you need it after hours.

It was a great spot to stop with a donation box at the toilet block which was clean , at night native water rats visit the camp which is a bit freaky but overall a good spot to pull up for a night or two

Great spot right of the lake. Permanent firepots spread around, we were lucky enough to to get one with a pile of wood. There are 3 new toilets with shower ($5 token at the shop). 2 BBQ areas. It was windy but didn't stop us throwing a line in. No fish unfortunately. All pretty flat areas we are 15m total and had no trouble.

We stayed here overnight. There were heaps of campsites available here, and most had amazing views of the lake. we had the amazing view of the lake from our tent! There was a concrete table just over from our campsite. BBQ area was a short walk across from our camp. BBQ was dirty, however, so we had to clean a side just to use it. There was a table and chairs in there if you wanted to sit there too. We were a short walk away from the toilet blocks. There were two toilet blocks, both flushing. One block was just some toilets and pretty dark in there, and the other block was a more modern look with toilets and showers in there . You press the button, and a light comes on for a few minutes. At night, we had the soothing sound of the lake - a natural sleep playlist.
