McGregors Dry Cleaners Currumbin

We've used McGregors for over 200 years, and recently they moved from The Pines shopping centre to Currumbin Creek Road. The new location is far better and easily accessible. The service has always been good; you pay upfront and so anyone can just pop in and pick up the cleaning just using the ticket.

I just want to say thank you so much to McGregors - our couch cushion covers in our rental unit were so messy and dirty and we just received them back and they look AMAZING wow - fantastic and very cost effective thank yo so much

Needed to get some new trousers dry cleaned to remove any manufacturing nasties. The lady at McGregor's Curumbin was friendly and helpful. The trousers were dropped off on Saturday and true to their word they were ready at 10 am Monday and they looked great.Cheers

Picked up my wedding dress only to have large stains across the front. When I brought this to their attention they told me that it was possibly brought in that way. When I assured them it wasn't they told me that sometimes stains can be brought out when having things dry cleaned. I was charged the full cost of dry cleaning with no apology or acceptance of them completely ruining my dress. Do not recommend this business.

I had a last minute emergency, needed a bridesmaid dress dry cleaned and this place saved me. They fully cleaned and pressed my dress within an hour and we’re so extremely helpful. I highly highly recommend.

I am a heavy user of dry cleaners, spending more than $200 per month, and as a local gave McGregor's every opportunity to keep my business (which they have lost). I have stopped using them but these are the issues that I had with them:First Issue: 6 work shirts with bleach damage mix of older and newer shirts - No responsibility taken but apologies givenSecond Issue: 4 work shirts with bright pink stains on them. They were able to remove the stainLast and final issue: 3 custom suits (I know I should never have trusted them) they delaminated the lining in the jackets leaving bulges in the centre of them.I just want to share my story so people are aware of my experience and know about their track record

Dry cleaning done on-site, not an agent. I always get my clothes drycleaned here. Excellent service from long-standing employee Fiona. They also wash doonas! Excellent service (& hellishly busy!).

Absolutely disgusted at the abuse and childish attitude from the ladies who work here. As I hopped out of my car I was yelled at by every single shop owner. After moving my car and then walking back past the shop these ladies KEPT GOING with the abuse & nasty comments. To think how unkind these ladies (I shouldn’t even call them ladies) were to people they don’t even know. The argument that occurred today would be enough to tip some people over the edge. You never know what people are going through & I’d hate for this bullying to happen to anyone else. Do not go anywhere near these sad excuses of people.Not false or misleading at all given this interaction involved the staff directly. I may have been a customer if your attitude wasn’t so poor and nasty but after being attacked before even having the chance to find what I was after I would never step foot into your sorry excuse for a business. Definitely need to work on communication & customer service - you’re obviously scaring people away (probably the reason these businesses are so spiteful and why the businesses next door are so buzzing). After working in hospitality, retail & marketing I know myself how EASY it is to be kind, helpful and communicate to anyone you interact with.After reading other reviews I’ve seen that this occurs often & even within the company. It’s so sad that you think bullying is okay and feel you’re entitled to ruin someone’s day.Hope your day gets better! You clearly need some happiness in your life.
