I bought anew outfit online and the skirt was tiny. It was so tight and short especially in the back as it hadn't been altered to go over the bum and I had to wear it that weekend and I went to a couple of tailors and all of them said they couldn't anything about the length and they couldn't do it before the weekend (from tuesday) then I went to Azad's as a last ditch effort and he was happy to do it and for a very reasonable price, I had been quoted $100 from other places just to let the skirt out. He talked me through everything he was going to do and made suggestions weighing the pros and cons and let me decided what I think is best. I didn't expect it to be as amazing as it was, I was able to pick it up on Thursday and I still can't believe how good my skirt looks and it fits perfectly and it actually covers my bum! I wish they had a Facebook page I could review this on but I cannot recommend Azad's Fashion & Alterations in St Ives enough. It's on the bottom level next to the pet shop in St Ives Shopping Village.

Very great service and a man of his word, i was very happy with his work on my wife's dress as well as my suit. I would 100% reccomend.

The worst service I experienced at this shop. I gave my Indian shirt for alterations and the slits were not stitched properly. When I went back to show the faults, the shop keeper blamed me of walking too fast that it resulted in the stitching to open. It shows how weak the stitching was that my walking resulted in this. The person was really rude and bluntly said no to fix this. I paid $70 to get this fixed and looks more terrible now. I highly recommend not to go to his shop for any service.Re: False accusation- I did not checked the shirt as I trusted you the way you said that leave this on me. I remember you did cut the extra thread. And even if the slits got open because of me walking too fast then it only shows how weak your work is that it took seconds for the thread to come off from its place. I have been wearing suits from a long time and never faced this situation that by walking too fast it destroys the stichting.Secondly, I came back to your shop for a solution but you straightaway blamed me and refused to take any further step. WORST EXPERIENCE!! You should have at least listened to me instead of being so rude.I am not visiting your shop again and will not even delete my review. People should know what to expect if they think to visit you for any service. It’s all about customer satisfaction not money.

I would never trust any other place to do my suits but azad's, excellent quality and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

I recently had two pairs of work pants taken up and taken in. The service I received was fantastic. Very polite staff, and same day service on a Sunday - all at a reasonable price.

I took my bridesmaid dress in for hemming after being ‘let down’ too often by my local dressmaker. Was so confident in Azad’s ‘no problem’ attitude and the result was extremely professionally executed.

Excellent service. Went to Gazman bought two suit trousers then to Azad’s and got them both taken up perfectly in 20 minutes, service was relaxed and professional. It’s under new management now I think different man than last time.

Would not recommend, just needed bottom of trousers hemmed up and it's already come undone after just two weeks.poor quality work.

The team at Azad’s are always polite and helpful. They have suggestions when you need help. They’re also super speedy and really reasonable with pricing. I wouldn’t go any where else!
