Steaks were not that good, dry and chewy. The waiter is very nice but manager is rude and lazy.

The food was cold and mushy, and we ordered a bunch of different stuff. It was all universally average. The service staff were a bunch of teenagers who were clearly out of their depth and the bar tender took 20 mins to make a vodka and lemonade before slamming it down on the table. Truly bafflingly bad stuff.

The staff were lovely and and friendly.I hadn’t been to a Lone Star for a very long time and was excited to see one when we were in Parramatta, so we gave it a try.I was sadly disappointed in their steaks. Flavour was good, but the steaks were dry and chewy. The Amarillo cheese fries were ok, but not even close to how I remember them. Also, the printed menu prices were cheaper than ordering from the QR code menu at the table. Steaks were 50 cents to $3 more expensive if you used the self serve table app menu. Sauces were also extra vie the app. So we ordered with the lovely waiter instead.

Let's start with the good. The ribs were tasty - sticky and just sweet enough - and the meat fell off the bone. The corn chips with artichoke and cheese dip was also pretty impressive, with the cheese nicely baked so the top was crispy. However, the pork belly bites were way too sweet and saucy (it left a strong aftertaste and odd feeling on your tongue). The thing that really shouldn't be on the menu is the apple crumble. I love apple crumble and was excited to see it on the menu. But it tasted like months-old frozen dessert that got re-heated in the microwave. It wasn't good. The pastry was mushy and both tasted and smelled old, like wet cardboard that had been defrosted.

The entree we had was awesome however when we received our mains, they were over cooked, way too salty and my partner even found a hair in his food. His dish was barely touched, and after telling him we didn’t want another new plate, he was not offered an apology from the manager(the initial staff member has apologised) let alone a refundWe both work in hospitality and that is definitely not how something like this should have been addressed - pretty poor on that managers part.

I ate hear about 1.5 months ago for dinner. I didnt' have a good experience and it's just been bothering me for so long I just gotta write this review.1) Service is a little under average, waitress did not actually tell us where to sit but rather say go here and sit2) Staff requested us to order over the app, not a fun experience when dining in to be honest. But I did out of respect.Overall experience so far is a little cold until the boss came around to say hi. Owner / boss is a good host but the rest of the staff lacked energy.3) Food came out on time.4) Fish & Chips was microwave. It was soggy. The other food was ok, but it just didn't taste right. Even the kids said the food was a little off.5) Value for money? Portions are pretty large, but quality and taste are lacking. So not exactly value for money but I didn't feel ripped off.Overall Lonestar has dropped the standards on their Franchise. This is why places like McDonalds is such a great business due to high quality management.I can't go back here to eat again nor can I recommend anyone.

Service was good. Food was average and overpriced. The servings are small as, everything so scattered on the plate it made the dishes look sad. I'd suggest getting smaller plates to make it look full or just not be stingy on the servings.. the schnitzel was okay, but might've been frozen, lemon wedge was so old and dry. The ribs were overcooked and was cooked on a very high heat, not falling off the bone and also crispy. However steaks was much better of all the meals, was cooked perfectly medium rare.Toilets here are not cleaned regularly. Bit scared what the kitchen might look like. Poor quality overall = poor experience.

Not a bad dining experience but we've found better steak/rib places in the immediate area. Floor manager is very friendly and the best thing the restaurant has going for it.We've tried a number of steak/rib restaurants and so wanted to see how lone star stacked up. We ordered a beef/portion rib combo and the Signature Sticky Sweet Smoky Meaty pork ribs with a side of buffalo wings. The food wasn't bad, nothing to write home about. We've yet to find a place that does a great buffalo wings where the marinade penetrates deep into the meat of the chicken instead of simply coating it like a dipping sauce. The ribs were tender where we could get the meat off the bone without too much coaxing. The steak was a tad on the dry side but not complaint-worthy.Not sure if it's our palate but we felt the mashed potato was a little too far on the sour side which was quite unnerving. However, that might be how many people enjoy their mashed potatoes? Not us though. The floor manager/maybe owner was incredibly attentive and looked after us very well. He had great chat and coordinates the floor and his staff brilliantly. As far as a good steak/rib goes, I'd quickly be choosing another restaurant over Lone Star Parramatta, however imagine I'd be back to say hi to the friendly floor manager some time in the near future.

Ordered takeaway and paid via website, turned up on time, place wasn’t busy, my order was ready. As they went to get the drink they advised they have no bottled soft drink. Offered me three cans which I thought was reasonable. No lemon squash, only coke and Fanta. I don’t drink either of those.Got back to my room 100m away, steak was lukewarm, very chewy and dry.Avoid!
