Superb job trimming 2 huge gum trees on my suburban block. Left so beautifully shaped that you wouldn't recognise that they had spent a number of hours trimming them. Very professional work.

I've had the pleasure of working with Cale on two occasions on my property in Melbourne and he has provided a flawless and professional service. He prices well, and provides educated advice, with a really nice team who work fast and sensitively in the space. I would highly recommend Cale and his team.

A really good group of guys when on site but in their own words they under quoted the job" and then refused to return to properly complete the stump grinding and removal of some 5m3 of mulch and grindings left on site.They told us the mulch would break down in a couple of months so after 9 months when it hadn't they agreed to come and remove it...but then refused to answer our callsWe've spent another 2k on stump grinding and mulch removal since.EDIT 13/1: DTE are FOS when responding to Google reviews. Cale was called and messages left in relation to returning to remove the mulch but chose not to respond. They also never offered to do more stump grinding.Have attached a photo 9 months later of the waste left on site that DTE said would "breakdown in a few months"... the grass has grown up over some of it and it was pushed back over to hide the remaining stump."

Purposely underquoted, then was extremely aggressive in asking for payment before the job is completed. Would NOT recommend hiring for any job.

Cale and the team were super easy to deal with - from quoting to having the tree removed. It was a very large tree and it was super quick and efficient. They left the site clean and the tree was removed as quoted. I would highly recommend this team.

I have used Down To Earth Tree Care & Surgery on multiple occasions - each time they did a great job removing large damaged trees and branches from our backyard. Very happy with the level of professionalism, the advice and the actual removal of the tree. A great value service - highly recommend.

I can confirm I am a customer and have used this service in the past and was happy with the service. However after asking for a similar scope of works some 4 years later was disappointed to receive an invoice with a 123% increase in costs.
