Rackley Swimming Spring Hill

The pool and facilities are very clean and heritage listed pool and building are a lovely space to bathe. The only reason I did not give a higher star rating was because I am a lap swimmer and this pool is focused on other services and the water is at a higher temperature to cater for therapeutic use. It is still fine for lap swimming just not optimal

Very cute little pool. Quite the time capsule. Wouldn't be good if you had mobility issues as the space around the pool is very narrow and there's a few steep steps from the street entrance up to the pool area.

Spring Hills Baths is a great place if you are wanting to swim laps without too many other people in the pool.

Wonderful historic pool, well maintained and a beautiful place to come for a swim. Only 6 lanes in a 25 yard pool, but usually not crowded. Historic changing rooms and look of the pool makes it worth a trip. The music playing is inspirational too. And Tim, the guy in charge of the pool, what a legendary Australian!

Great place, very well-maintained. The ambience is nice too, they played classical music there. I have a 2 year old and a 7 year old niece and they get cold easily so this place was perfect for them plus they have floaties, pool noodles, boards, etc that are free to use. They also have a shampoo/body wash in the showers so it's very convenient.

Sunday September seems 22, 2019. I was greeted at first with unnaturally loud conversations. So I waited outside for the talks to end. As I announced my admission ticket the service attendant used double word meaning emphasis in his expression and speech, coming in" word stress sounded like " cumming in". It used to be an public offense to have sound above a certain level called public nuisance and disturbance. Since music is a personal choice and can't be played on transport and other quiet spaces this rule should apply here. There wasn't a special event on and the music was way too loud. The service attendant insisted they must have it but they haven't always. A woman followed me into the ladies toilet to listen to me rinse the chlorinated water off my body

It's the cutest, retro pool! Old signs still on display letting the men know they shouldn't be loitering down the deep end. The pool is lined on 3 sides with pastel green, yellow and red doors that house small change rooms. I was there at 9am on a Tuesday and was the only person for a while. The pool is heated and there are showers and toilets on site. Definitely worth checking out for a morning swim.

Lovely well preserved swimming icon in the city. On a beautiful day with the roof opened up, it's got a perfect atmosphere for afternoon laps.
