I purchased a lopi next generation inbuilt from a different resellerThis would be the biggest white elephant fireplace ever ,Will not produce any heat at all ,I have a cheap free standing free standing fireplace from bbq galore in my other house and it runs rings around my very expensive lopi heap of rubbishIt is very conservative on wood because you cannot get it to burn any and produce heat as a fireplace should

Had some issues with the heater liner and faced some issues when trying to get it replaced from the heating company i purchased it from. Thankfully the support team at Lopi got involved and offered a suitable solution.

Have a lopi cape cod for 6 years and I've had a number of things go wrong with it which have been small but annoying for the price I paid. The kicker is the green start ignition that I purchased with the unit. If you are thinking of getting a green start don't. Unit failed after four years and the replacement part to fix it is almost the same as what I paid for the entire unit. $375 for the green start unit, new ignition part is $316. Crazy pricing for something that failed so quickly.

I purchased a heater from Nick Daniels a supplier of Lopi almost a year ago, we have had issues with the fan and a remote not working making the heater unusable. Reported the issue and had what you would call the worst experience in trying to get things repaired. First it took them 2 months to actually tell the supplier about the problem, then took another 2 months to get some one to actually deal with the issue, had to wait 3 months for parts and once the parts were delivered to nick we are still waiting for his repair guy to call us and actually fix the unit. Just deflated after spending thousands on a high quality unit and not being able to use it and spending hours and hours chasing and chasing to beg to get things fixed.Edit to address comment by lopi - I have been dealing with your warranty team since December its now April every one just brushed me off. both you and the seller. I am sick of the emails and phone calls from your departments saying ahh it should never take that long. I begged your team to take over the repair from the beginning but it never happened. I waited 3 months for parts that was your department. You have no overview of warranty claims or how long they stay open for. The only way this was ever dealt with was by me hounding both your company and the supplier. so apparently you got the parts 2 months ago but never followed up with the install cause hey thats the suppliers fault right?

Very disappointing with the performance!! My old maxiheat run rings around the lopi, the fan is so noisy its like a train coming

Recently the glass in the door of my Lopi 'Answer ' developed a crack. I have had 7 winters out of this unit to date and I am not happy that this has happened now. My previous fireplace went for over 20 years without the glass breaking. My Lopi dealer dismissed my complaints saying that this was not a big deal and I should not complain. He has quoted me over $300 to replace the glass with a take it or leave it attitude. He added that he did not 'like' fixing this particular problem and if I was unhappy with his price then he would sell me the parts and I couldn't repair it myself !! I declined and he is now carrying out the repair at the qouted price. In 2012 I payed over $3000 for this unit. Fixing a glass panel into a woodburner door is not rocket science and Lopi has done a poor job in this instance. I will think twice before I purchase a Lopi in the future.Since my initial review I have been contacted by George from the dealership and he has been most helpfull. We were able to come to an agreement with the result that the door is fixed and my woodburner is now working perfectly again. Very pleased with the result.

Just installed a Lopi Republic 1250 into a Victorian Period fireplace. Wow, amazing quality and the heating capability is fantastic. Highly recommend Lopi Republic products.
