Smash Repairs

All I can say is be careful when taking your car to this Smash Repairs. Someone hit my relatively new car whilst it was stationary and the lady went through AAMI (her insurance company) so I decided to go with their recommendation on a repairer given my car was still under warranty. Smash Repairs initially had my car for 4 weeks before it was returned to me. When it came back to me it was in a filthy state, there was a spare screw left in my car, there were numerous scratches on my car that weren't there before and a lot of grit was left in the paint job. They then took my car back for a second time and after 14 weeks or so I decided to call the insurance company to find out what was happening with my car. It finally came back, still with scratches and grit in the paint job and this time I also had at least 1/2 tank of fuel missing. I took photos beforehand as I didn't trust them. The assessor thought it was okay given they clocked up 20 kms on my car. I took it further and AAMI found in my favour and reimbursed me money to refill my tank. I was requested to take it back to them for a third time but I refused and took it elsewhere. Overall experience was poor, the receptionist Amanda was also quite rude on the phone when I initially called to advise of the scratches, etc. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
