Snuck in for a pint - got the Red and it was $15! The 3 stars are for the beer because it was good. Zero stars for atmosphere and zero stars for the prices. First choice is across the road....It would be great if breweries had a basic tap beer that they could sell for reasonable prices, rather than expecting everyone to pay absolute top dollar for every single beer.

This a great space in Gungahlin, owner (Jeff) is super friendly and has got a very family friendly space. The brewer Matty has the beer absolutely bang on with a lot of variety, and provides new flavours almost weekly. The staff are all super kind and accomodating. Food here is great too, got the pub classics but also a lot of variety. Venue manager James is always accommodating and friendly, knows what he’s doing. If you’re looking for good beer and food in Gungahlin, go here!

Sooo where do I start, the place seems alright they have a pretty decent seating area inside.Came in for a couple beers and the pork belly and my friend had sliders. We waited for 30-40 minutes my friend goes up and asked where the food is (it wasn't busy like 14 people in total) he got told to wait and it's coming. Apparently it wasn't as someone had unplugged the machine so our order never got sent through? Anyway we wait longer and it's been 1.5 hours now, the food comes put and it's incredibly small for the price. The flavour is meh, I think the chef is allergic to seasoning as the pork belly is just plain pork belly no salt or anything. The meat on the pork belly is cooked properly but the fat is not crispy but soft and kind of soggy, you'd think waiting 1.5 hours they would cook 6 pieces of pork belly properly but no. The size is so small look at my friends watch compared to these pieces, not really what you expect at a brewery. The sliders were pretty bad overall, dry meat that must have been microwaved or something, no seasoning on that either you couldn't really taste the meat just the mayonnaise in the bun.The beer is actually alright but the taste Is ruined by the overall experience. If you are allergic to salt then this is the place for you, can recommend if you like overpaying and you're on a diet as you'll leaving hungry.Honestly I don't know why they don't team up with a food van and get someone else to handle the food.

It is a new enterprise and I wish them well. Gungahlin needs them. They are obviously listening to feedback, good or bad as the schnitzel burger is now a burger. Popped in while in the vicinity to give them a go. Tasting paddle was great and staff knew their beers. I loved it as a casual lunch / beer tasting session. Gr8 to have you guys in the area as it brings people here so I wish you all the best and thank you for giving it a crack.

We had a great time here. Beers were fantastic, the wine was well selected and reasonably priced and the sliders were great. Staff were really lovely, and the music was fun - lots of drums and energy. You can tell they’re just sorta starting out, so the venue looks a bit unfinished, but I am SO glad a new place to drink in Gunners opened, I am thrilled and looking forward to going again.

Had some confusion after they had signs outside advertising a $15 lunch special and when I tried to order it for 3 people they said the menu states it’s weekdays only. I said I wanted the one advertised outside and they said again the menu states it’s only available weekdays. Confusion and frustration all round until I realised they put the sign out on the footpath in error (although they didn’t tell me this .. if they did things would have cleared up immediately). A staff member went out and removed it.The chips, both regular and sweet potato, are really tasty. Really tasty. The IPA was solid, not brilliant. The nachos were extremely plain, small portion and lacking in flavour. The calamari was tasty but the portion was very small. If you’re after a pint and some chips and don’t care for things like perky staff, this is a good venue. I’ll be back for chips and a drink. I’m happy there’s a brewery in Gungahlin and I wish them all the best.

Great to see some MASSIVE improvements at the new local brewery over the last 2 months. Food is now exceptional and beers were always tip top. Would be nice to see Cypher cans at the liquor store as the IPA is my go to for sure.

While it is a convenient location and do like their XPA beer, I didn't really enjoy the vibe. The building seems more office/industrial unfinished place without thinking about the layout. While I know it was new besides a couple staff most were clueless of knowledge of the beer and food. The food didn't seem that great and wasn't cheap. Also while you can book tables online for up to 8 people, but any more or want to change your reservation there is no number to call to do so.

I was a little sceptical when I walked in on a Friday for lunch - no patrons at all? But sure enough, a couple of people arrived just after me and started filling the vast space!Upon arrival, I was offered samples of the beers before I settled on the Firesprite. Much appreciated! I ordered the BLT Chicken Schnitzel burger and was positively surprised it actually wasn't quite a burger - it was Turkish bread rather. It was beautiful and went nicely with the beer. I can see though that someone keen on an actual burger would have felt misled!I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and will surely be back and try some of the other beers too!

Had a great New England IPA, and I am really keen to try all the other beers if they're even half as good. Unfortunately, while the beer was excellent and the staff great, the vibe on the inside was really average. It felt like a cross between a cheap bistro, dive bar, and Cafe - I didn't really get the brewery" vibe.Having said that
