Customer Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Machine service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Kindness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My beloved (11 month old) overlocker was not working properly, took it to Sew Simple for a service to find out what’s wrong with it.The machine service was outstanding, with great care taken to fix motor, repair needle plate and fine tune other machine features.The service man went above and beyond “standard service” by repairing and caring for my machine as if it was their own.Whilst the machine was in for service Tali provided outstanding customer service, her communication was clear, concise and regular.Her knowledge of sewing, machines was great. What really blew me away was the kind way she worked with me to help solve the problem with my machine and get it repaired under warranty.The “customer service” I experienced at Sew Simple is something not often seen in today’s world. Keep up the great work, Sew Simple and thank you for your fantastic work on my machine, kindness and outstanding customer service.

Very very disappointed with our $2000 Juki machine that we bought 12 months ago. It has been returned and checked several times but still having problems. Not nice when you feel like you are treated like an idiot. We would not buy another machine from Sew Simple and would not recommend them.

Possibly the worst customer service I’ve had in a while. Booked in my embroidery machine for a service and they said it would take about 10 days. 14 days passed by and I’d heard nothing so I rang up. They hadn’t even started. This kept happening. In total it took 10 WEEKS to get my machine back during which they made no attempt to contact me to update me on the progress. They also didn’t seem to care that it had been so long. I followed up about 6 times and only the last time did I get a really throw away apology with lots of excuses. I was offered nothing for the inconvenience and not kept up to date at all. I use the machine for my business and I lost a lot of business from this ordeal. If they’d told me up front it would take 2.5 months to fix I would have taken it elsewhere. There’s no excuse for not keeping me in the loop and there’s really no excuse for 10 weeks to fix it when I’ve been quoted 10 days. I would’ve been fine if it had take a little longer had they actually told me.

I'd like to thank everyone at Sew Simple for their prompt and excellent assistance. Ming provided considerable expertise, repairing and servicing my old model Singer sewing machine. I appreciated receiving prompt attention to my initial enquiry also. Highly recommended.

My Mum used to get her machine serviced here and I have continued the tradition. Sonja is always helpful and I trust Ming with my machines. New location a bit of a hike from the north side of Canberra but worth it.

I've had 2 bernina machines serviced here, and the staff really went above and beyond! They were super helpful, and the service time was so quick :) Would 100% recommend

Great service! I've ordered Horn chair delivered to Sydney and it came next day! Chair had a little flaw due to manufacturers fault and Sharon from Sew Simple sent me great selection of sewing goodies as compensation. I'm very happy with service provided and at all times I've called - someone was happy to help with my enquiries, I'm certainly visit this store next time I'm in Canberra ;)

Purchased a Juki overlocker from sew simple, which broke after 8 months while sewing a fabric that should not of broken the part. When i brought it in for repair the technician assured me it was covered under warranty. However 3 weeks after dropping it off I was told that is would cost $195 to repair and that they would ring me when it was ready to collect. When I went to collect it and questioned the cost of the repair the owner was rude, condescending, racist towards about his technician and belittling towards us. It was so embarrassing that his kind female employee has to apologise for his poor behaviour and communication. When i looked online at the cost of an authentic replacement part, they had charged me 3 times the price I could purchase it for online. I will never go back there again, to be abused instead of receiving any customer!
