Ulmarra Hotel
Gorgeous historical hotel, situated on the banks of the Clarence River. The sunsets are breathtaking. You can enjoy a drink or a meal while watching the river. For $89 for two people night which includes a continental breakfast, you can't beat it

Found this by accident, got lost a bit as the phone service was so poor in the area. Needed a stop over lunch and this became the closest one. Worried about the place from the outside but was pleasantly surprised when we went inside. Food was great and service and staff amazing. Highly recommended!!!

Lovely old hotel, received a pleasant surprise with the open area at the rear. The food was delicious & the staff were wonderful. It was very busy but they squeezed us in on the last table.

Absolutely gorgeous outdoor area on the banks of The Clarence River. The food was fabulous, staff friendly, amenities clean. Small parking area, but plenty of street parking. Disabled access. We've eaten here a couple of times, and definitely intend on returning. Ulmarra is a little bit off the highway nowadays, but well worth the stop for lunch in a scenic, relaxed atmosphere. The dessert range was also a highlight.

One of the best places to eat on the Clarence River, has beautiful shady garden tables on the river, bigger tables under the verandah and Cafe area or tables in the pub. Great food, salad is always decent not just an afterthought, service always with a smile. Highly recommend the chicken parmigiana with chips and salad.

Stopped in for a dinner while visiting Grafton. Pretty decent dinner for pub food - was nice to receive well cooked vegetables and the desserts were quite nice too. Front of house staff in the bistro were pleasant

Nice atmosphere, surroundings, meals and room however big negative was no air-conditioning so room was stifling hot during Summer so wouldn't recommend you stay here in the heat as not good for a night's sleep. Assume there would be planty of other available accommodation you could book with air conditioning even if you had to pay a bit more. This really let's the place down.

It’s lovely here. Old country pub vibe going on. Great Pizzas served by great staff. Sat by the river feeding the lizards, These lizards must be Italian because they love pizza.
