Glady and Co is a wonderful service for people who might otherwise be socially isolated due to their illness. The comradeship and social interaction is of great benefit to all of us. Many friendships have been formed during our time shared.

It's currently my 3rd week of attending the hub as a participant (1 day per week). I've really enjoyed the environment and atmosphere they have created. All staff and participants, who I've met so far, have been lovely. I've enjoyed drawing and socialising so far. I'm also grateful for the accommodation of dietary requirements with the breakfast and snacks they provide.

Glady & Co have changed my life for the better. Their personalised support is professional and courteous, making me feel seen and understood. I can’t recommend them highly enough, and can’t imagine my life without their constant care.

Run don’t walk from this place. They spent my entire Support Coordination funding in 7 months. (I had a 2 year Plan). They then refused to supply invoices sent to NDIA. They also tried repeatedly to access money from my plan without authorisation. I lost a considerable amount of funding in my next plan because of their incompetence. They then dumped me because there was no funding left. Another group Rorting the system. They think anyone with Mental health issues is Stupid. I have PTSD and I ask questions. They don’t like that!

Updated 2021 - operating out of BoroniaBelow was posted at the start of the business journey. Since then it has grown significantly and the feel has changed to that of a business only focused on making money and not caring about the participants who attend. If you have tight NDIS funding you may want to look elsewhere - their accounts are a mess so keep an eye on what they are billing for.I would strongly recommend finding a support worker somewhere else as they charge travel time for their workers which is not standard practice at all - as I said, now it's all about the money. The participants are still lovely to socialise with, but if you have a concern or issues while there I suggest you run....as far as you can.For me trying to address an issue regarding how one of the staff was treating me was ignored for months, and when I did finally receive communications back it was highly inappropriate, and of a total bullying nature.I will be looking for somewhere else local to attend, but there is very little available like this currently. I am aware of other participants (and staff members) who have had similar issues.Good luck to anyone looking. It's not an easy journey.Originally written 2019 - when operating out of Mooroolbark. This place has been great for me. I love the variety of groups that are offered and have met a lovely bunch of people both staff and participants. It's been a safe place to go where I don't feel judged and can talk about certain struggles that others relate to too.The fact that The Hub is on every day means that I can go when I feel the need if I am having a bad day.So pleased I found this place for support. Even more essential to me as EACH has changed its policy so I am no longer able to use their services. This is a real life saver for me.Thank you.

I've never felt so supported than by the staff here. They're so welcoming, and friendly. Their professionalism and service is second to none. The Hub is really nice to go into, and you can be welcomed to just relax.Staff are really approachable, and provide support in social situations, taking to appointments, helping me with prepare meals and clean up my house.

I have been attending Glady & Co for 2.5 years and it has been such a life saver as it is given me a better quality of life. I have made many new friends and being able to socially engage and connect with others has helped me not to feel so socially isolated in the home. The staff who work here also have a lived experience and they are extremely approachable, welcoming, supportive, caring, empathetic and I feel inclusive.

Don’t appreciate being deceived by staff when I enquired about support co-ordination. I was not given a truthful answer about why it’s not available. Therefore, I am going elsewhere and would not recommend them. I think they should implement anti discrimination training before turning people away based on their ethnic background. Unfortunately I am too ethnic for their services. I was told my last name was ‘unusual’ and I was asked ‘where is that from?’. Then I was turned away after discovering I was an Arab.I don’t deal with organisations that racially profile and turn people away for this reason. I notice there are not many ethnic staff or clients there and it seems they only want to accept those of an Anglo Saxon background or non Middle Eastern background. I’m proud of my ethnic background and if you want to adopt this attitude you can get stuffed and stick your support co-ordination services and discriminatory attitude up your crack too.In response to the CEO I want to say the fact she doesn’t know what happened is pretty poor I think CEOs should take responsibility for what occurs in their own organisation and take steps to fix it. I stand by my claims and have noted down the staff member who made these inappropriate comments and then denied me support co-ordination services.
