Only About Children Turramurra Tennyson

We have been at the centre for 12 years now with 4 different children attending. Staff are wonderful with both the kids and parents no matter if it’s your first child or a subsequent child starting. Small centre compared to some but that has been a good thing I feel. In saying that the Centre has some wonderful inside and outside areas and lots of different things to do within these areas. Would highly recommend having a tour if you are looking!

We travel from the Central Coast so our boys can attend Oac Tennyson Ave. It is an amazing centre with brilliant and passionate educators who excel at bringing out the best in preschoolers and toddlers. Watching our boys begin to develop their confidence and love of learning while at the centre has been a journey our whole family has been so excited to share. The range of learning experiences my boys have had is absolutely mind blowing- both of my children have come so far in their pre literacy and numeracy since starting at the centre and they absolutely adore coming to kindy here. They love their educators so much and Miss Julie our director is incredibly hard working and supportive of families to ensure we have access to additional services and so many great experiences including excursions and social activities. The cleanliness of the centre is second to none and I can emphatically say my children have never picked up a singleIllness from the centre because the level of hygiene is so high. Being a smaller centre our children have relationships with their teachers across the rooms and we love that the boys can interact throughout the day. We are so grateful to the beautiful staff and I have so many friends in other areas who wish they could have their children attend such an incredible place. It really is a magical environment for children to develop a life long love of learning— every day, without fail, the teachers have worked tirelessly to set up new and interesting experiences in both the classrooms and the gorgeous outdoor space- I love seeing how excited the boys are to see what new activities are on offer and when I pick them up in the afternoon they are still having fun. They have an enormous sense of pride in their kindy and are always excited to show us the new activities that have been set up and the work they have done. The Storypark app is amazing and I know that no matter what I can always talk to every educator and they will know exactly how both boys days went because they are so connected and engaged. Tennyson Ave Oac is the best start in education we could ever have hoped for and exceeded all our expectations by far.

Our family just relocated to Sydney from overseas. We had been worried about if my son could adapt to the new environment well. However, our anxiety was eliminated at the first day our son joined the school. It’s wonderful seeing him get excited about going here. The tutors really make an effort to engage the kids and the management is always committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re very thankful to the whole team.

We have been really impressed with the team at OAC Tennyson Ave. They are supportive and playful and really enjoy their roles. All the kids are busy and happy. Our son is 3 and can’t wait to get to ‘school’ each day. He is really engaged in the activities and always has something new to tell us each day. Would recommend to anyone.

The staff at OAC Tennyson Ave are exceptional. We tried two other centres in the area and this one was by far superior because of the passion of the educators, their willingness to work with parents and genuine care for each child. My son didn't want to leave in the afternoons because he was having so much fun. I wish we'd found it earlier!

OAC Tennyson Ave is a beautiful community Preschool with friendly staff who create a safe, happy and engaging environment. The teachers develop quality programs including a school readiness program which provides opportunities for children to reach their potential. Julie is a fabulous Director who is always willing to help and support parents and children. She is caring, welcoming and very approachable. After 3 years, our daughter leaves OAC for 'big school'. She has made lovely friends and will leave with very fond memories.

The care and community provided at OAC Tennyson Ave is exemplary. Both my children have attended and have loved their time there. The staff are extremely dedicated and always have a welcoming smile on their faces. Julie is a wonderful director and supportive of all staff, families and the children. Grouptimes organised for the children are educational and rewarding.We were very happy with our years at OAC Tennyson Ave, and would recommend it to others.

I previously had my little boy at another day care and he was sick and sad all the time. Since starting with Only About Children my son has absolutely flourished, he is so happy and is developing his skills every day. I am so amazed by the care the team shows him and feel so reassured that he is safe, happy and learning with the daily updates and beautiful photos I receive.

The preschool is amazing. I feel confident and comfortable going to work as I know my son is having a wonderful day learning and playing with his teachers and friends. My son has settled very quickly due to the kindness and experience of his teachers. We are immensely grateful for the team for all their efforts and enthusiasm. The preschool is very much a community focused on the children.

All of our three children have gone through OAC Tennyson and we couldn't have been happier. Julie, Belinda and the team are fantastic. They are kind and caring and our kids have loved their time there.
