RSL Memorial Park Free Campground

Great Free camp in the middle of town. Has clean toilets can enter from either side. Grassed area. Is the start of the Kilkivan to Kingaroy rail trail. 88 km long. There is a pub straight across the road and a couple of cafes in town. Free Internet at the Library on their wifi network.

Easy and peacefull

The RSL Memorial Park Free camp on is a great campground. This camp is located in the quiet historic town of Kilkivan. The camp has large, open, very green grassy grounds located next to the main road and the other side of the camp is the start or end of the famous Raul trail. There is a toilet block with a men and women's toilet.The toilets are well stocked with soap, water and well maintained. There is no potable water but there is a tap right behind the mens toilet. Next to the toilet are several bins and a seating area. Right across the camp is a cafe, an antique shop and a pub. The campground due to the grass isn't wheelchair accessible. Generators allowed. Thank you Kilkivan for your hospitality and providing is this great free camp to discover your lovely town.

We love to stop here for the night after having a feed in town. Grassy, open, mostly level area Toilets and a water tap just outside of the men's toilets to fill a water container. Some shade around the edges.
