Golden Terrace Holiday Park

AVOID AVOID AVOIDWe stayed for 3 nights. The managers were very strict. On the last night, we were listening to some music at the communal kitchen area. The music wasn’t loud at all. We could easily chat amongst each other. A few other people came over to chat. We invited the manager to join us for a beer, he came and everything was great. There was children with us. Not even an hour later at 9.35 pm, he stormed over and told us in a very stern voice, “NIGHTS OVER, MUSIC OFF NOW’….. He then went up to my wifi speaker and turned it off. There’s a sign stating that the communal area is open to 10. We asked him if there was a problem, he ignored us. We mentioned that all he had to say was ‘hey guys, it’s getting late, would you mind turning the music off’. We would have been quite happy to.When we questioned him he yelled out “IF YOU DONT LIKE IT, FU#£ OFF!!!!!!!He was so rude. I’ll never return.

Golden Terrace Holiday Park has very clean amenities. The toilets, laundry, shower facilities & pool are all very clean, well stocked and well maintained. There is a full outdoor kitchen with oven, stove, bbq, full size fridge, all crockery & cutlery, tables and a television. The staff are friendly. There is a back entrance which is open from 7:30am til 7:30pm.

I would have to say this caravan park is one of the cleanest and tidiest caravan parks I have every stayed in . The cabin was very clean with clean linen and coffee and tea supplied but no milk. The BBQ area was under shelter with every thing you could need.The swimming pool looked inviting and was immaculate.The grass was mowed like a lawn bowl. It had easy parking,was close to the beach and shops.The place was only average when it came to wheel chair friendly. The only thing I would say is make sure you don’t break any of there rules as they run the caravan park with a firm hand and are likely to yell at you if break any of there rules even if it’s a minor thing and will not give you a opportunity to explain. As a result I can only review on my experience and it makes this place a one star. It may have been a 5 other wise.

Located in the quiet part of town, it's small compared to other caravan parks so peaceful and fairly private. Just opposite to the shore with a walking track. Cabins were good value, clean and tidy. Taps were hard to turn off so constantly dripping. Microwave with 2 stove tops limits what can be cooked due to lower heat.

Let's be honest the lady at the front desk... well has no personality at all can't even answer the phone with hello Golden TerraceCheryl speaking.We booked a pet friendly villa with hotel.comOnce arrived paid at front desk unpacked the car went for a walk to look at caravan park.Had Cheryl chase us down to tell us NO PETS aloud in villa's.. she then asked us to book our dog in to a kennel or we had a leave.Myself and my partner were not leaving or booking our dog in to a keenle.Cheryl then rang a guy names simone who then said if we pay an extra $200 for a cleaning fee for the dog we can stay. We paid the $200 also a $50 bond witch would be returned once we had left to make sure the dog did no damage..(we did receive our $50 bond back)The caravan park had lovely green grass the facilities are horrific our villa was full of ants mold in our shower.We had 1 wine glass in the villa had to ask a lovely couple we meet if they could lend us a wine glass out of there cabin.No bin bags for 6 nights 7 days.1 face washer for a family of 3.If you want to be told off like a little child by Cheryl and her husband then this is the place to go.Definitely not children friendly no play ground nothing just a road straight down the middle.Heated pool well that's false advertising it's definitely NOTHorrible caravan park...Best part of this place was the location and the green grass.

Checked out yesterday after 3 nights. We were a group of 3 adults 2 children and 2 dogs. Stayed in a pet friendly flat. Flat had everything we needed. Beds are comfy. Flat was very clean. Nice quiet location with easy walk to shopping district. Managers very friendly and accomodating. We would definitely stay again.

The attitude of the people running the place, just wow!!! I’ve never experienced such rudeness before.Great green patch of grass we stayed on and can’t complain about ensuite it was quiet clean.

My partner , myself and our fur baby had a great relaxing stay here in cabin 3. Cute and neat cabins. Loved how we could bring our pet and at a good price. Super lovely staff especially Teresa! :)Would highly recommend.Constrictive feedback for cabin 3 :)*New inside front door mats*Provide bowls for pet food/water* Replace entrance panel blinds to roller blinds like the rest for more privacy

We stayed 2 nights in cabin 4, no hot water despite being told to let it run after 30 minutes my husband gave up and used the shower in amenities, I did have hot water once to wash up and I had one hot shower. Very disappointed. It was a shame as Lakes Entrance is just beautiful.

Stayed just overnight, really nice quiet neat park.
