Mercure Canberra Belconnen

Stayed overnight here and had no complaints. Overnight parking is available for $12/night. There's a Woolies a very short walk away. The AIS is just a 5 minute drive away. Spacious room and comfortable bedding. The breakfast was modest but not terrible.

We booked Executive King Studio for 14 days stay at Mercure Belconnen.The hotel front desk staff were welcoming and very friendly. There is ample amount of paid parking available for the guests at $10/day. The room looks very cool with good views, was arranged very neatly for our arrival. Unsecured wifi is available and the signal strength is very weak.The king size bed in the room was nice and comfortable but the sofa bed was not at all convenient to sleep and it was making funny sounds. However, when we complained about it, they provided us with a single cot which was decent.We were staying with our 2-year old kid (charged as Adult) hence we requested housekeeping services on daily basis to vaccum, change linen and towels. Couple of the housekeeping staff were rude and reluctant to offer the service. They couldn't even refill the bath soap until we request for 2 days in a row. But rest were really very happy to help.Overall, I can say it was a pleasant stay except for the few issues noted above.

My son and I stayed here over night and spent the day at Canberra Zoo.The room was very modern and clean and the staff were great.There is an awesome pizza place downstairs.

Overall, I think this hotel is pretty amazing. It has everything I need ( parking, RSL club, massive space, comfy bed, good customer service) etc. The only thing is the bathroom isn’t cleaned properly (shelves are dusty, floor not vacuumed well) However overall it still exceeded my expectations! I would say it’s value for money :)

Stayed for one night on my birthday, whilst on the way to Melbourne. A wonderful warm welcome and a welcome acknowledgement of my birthday by Pratima.The rooms are clean and spacious. Lovely views over the river. Parking for $12 / night right under the hotel. We'll be back for sure. Thank you.

Good clean hotel with very secure parking. Stayed 3 nights in the room with separate lounge and bath..the room was great as we had bubs with us. It even had a microwave which we were not expecting.. we had wanted to get the apartment but it was all booked out. The eatery joined to the hotel is owner by a lovely Italian man and has great lamb shanks. The club was not quite suitable for us for meals so we were lucky to find the eatery. An added bonus was the laundry facility, though small, was good to have to do some washing although we had to approach reception as it someone left their laundry there for hours and we could not use the dryer and we didn't feel right to take it out. Would stay again. Helpful staff too.

Excellent location, both gorgeous and modern. The room was excellent and I had a great time. Can’t wait to return.
