Traditional Funerals

We are grateful to Sam and the team at Traditional Funerals Burpengary for their compassionate and skilful support at a difficult time. The team ensured our family had peace of mind throughout funeral preparation. On the day everything flowed beautifully. The follow up care for our widowed mother was much appreciated. We would highly recommend Sam's team to other families.

I cannot recommend highly enough the wonderful service our family were provided by Sam from Traditional Funerals Redcliffe after the passing of our mum. From the first contact to the lovely followup a week after the funeral, Sam was an absolute professional. The process was seamless, considerate and dignified during a very sad time for our family.

We have never had to arrange any Funeral Services in the past. As per my Parents' (deceased) wishes, their Services, held a month apart, were organised through Traditional Funerals. Both Funeral Arrangers, Sam and Mia were both highly professional, well organised and empathetic to our needs. We were appreciative of their support, knowledge and experience in running these Services. We had a Poppy Service for my Father's Service and we were very grateful for Sam's input and consultation with the RSL to facilitate this addition to Dad's Service. Facilities at Burpengary were very modern and accomadating and Staff were very helpful and obliging. Food and refreshments were plentiful and well presented. The provision of the Services on digital recording was a very nice touch and allows us to reflect as time goes by. We are very thankful for Tradtional Funerals taking a load off our minds at a very difficult time. We would highly recommend them.

Adam and Sam were very professional and accommodating for the funeral at the Redcliffe location. Our father was taken off life support and we were led to believe he would pass within 24 hours and so planned the funeral for five days later. However he did not pass for three days, leaving the team at Traditional Funerals a very short window of time to execute, especially when the coroner's sign off was still needed. They handled the situation with grace and compassion, and showed great flexibility when even on the day of the service, things did not always go as planned. In addition, a staff member met me at the crematorium on Saturday morning to ensure the ashes were collected before an overseas flight. First class service from quality organization and individuals. Highly recommended.

The family of Judith Austin would like to just thank again Paul and his team at Redcliffe branch for their care and dedication to making this sad time as easy and stress free as possible the service was absolutely beautiful and their care of Judy was impecible. From our first contact to just touch base, to Paul coming to our home and sitting with us while we arranged the funeral to the day itself and then coming back to collect our loved one we were treated like part of the family and the aftercare that has been offered to even popping back for just a cuppa any time has been so very much appreciated. Sam & his team at Traditional Funerals, were very helpful & arranged everything for my husbands funeral, with great professionalism & expertise. Recently I had to organise a funeral for my late mother,upon doing the ring around to funeral homes, Traditional funerals were the only truly helpful ones I spoke with, from the point of first contact through to the service and after care Sam and team from Traditional funerals went above and beyond, nothing was to much for them including last minute requests 5 minutes prior to the service starting.very patient, supportive and understanding to the needs and wishes.Sam assisted us and explained everything in great detail, there was truly no question left un-answered.when I was told I would receive a call back that happened very promptly.should the need ever arise I would recommend Sam and the team from traditional funerals to any family or friend who may need a professional and caring funeral home.

These guys were great for my Mum’s funeral. They made it so easy for us and the Chapel was beautiful and the food was 5 star also.My brother was over seas and could not attend and there was a high quality live web streaming service available for him, and others who were interstate.Top job Paul & Crew!And thanks also to our celebrant Ivan.It was perfect!

We were very satisfied with the service provided by traditional funerals. The planning was completed quickly and easily with Sam from the Redcliffe office. He kept in regular contact leading up to the funeral and went out of his way to accommodate a couple of small requests we had. Their presence on the day was both professional and compassionate.
