Unreliable - a very disappointing customer experience.As a result of a last min cancellation from my original company, I booked Jacques based on the cost quoted on the website. A revised quote was then emailed which included an increase from $80 to $250 for delivery. I enquired about this and was told costs had increased and if I didn’t want to pay then I could collect the items. I agreed to this but was then told they could not longer fulfill the order and couldn’t help. This left me without equipment the day before my event.If you want a reliable and cost effective company, go elsewhere.

I use these guys all the time for my hire equipment for events and parties. They have a good selection, mostly robust items with some speciality items as well.Friendly staff, always helpful when I pick and drop off plus they do delivery as well.

I’ve never given a bad review before but I feel as though no one should be ripped off on their wedding day the way I was. Not happy with service and would highly not recommend. I was charged a late fee of $400 from the venue of the event as Jacques party hire did not show up on time to collect hired items. When dropping off items nothing was set up and items were placed in the way of other vendors. One table provided was broken so we couldn't even use it and all of the furniture was dirty and we had to keep washing our hands so that we did not mark anything else from other vendors. Emailed proof for a resolution or some reimbursement and was given a response with no accountability and then they ignored my reply.

Thankful for this crew who installed a Marquee for our student event that hosted 800+ students. Great communication, and just really on to it. Thanks for being an awesome vendor to work with.

The order arrived a day late. We had clarified with the staff as it was a public holiday but they had reassured us that it would be delivered. Some of the chairs needed to be washed and some had permanent stains. The tables were also splintering. All in all a pretty poor experience. Not one apology given by the office staff. At least the delivery person was nice but explained that he could do nothing about the articles delivered.
