It's a nice place on a sunny arvo for a beer but felt the prices didn't match the food. A small box of chips for $10 and the pizzas were undercooked.

Great meeting place. Beer and lager brewed at the tavern . Food was very good after ordering didn't take long to come out. Vernon arms is in lovely location views of the lake and very peaceful. Really liked the summer lager they brew very refreshing. I would definitely recommend this place for a great pint and fantastic food.

Went here for the first time today - only had a couple of starters and Belgian style Wheat Beer's... Place was great and staff very friendly. The Wheat Beer was good, and the starters where awesome. Weather was a bit cold, but staff brought out gas heaters which was nice.Will definitely be back.*(Note: the menu I found online seems to be different to what we had)...

Nice meal with a large group. Lots of seating, with table service once you have ordered at the bar. All meal were very nice.

Top place and terrific views! The staff are so nice and friendly this is something other places need to look into, be nice to customers because if you don't people talk then you loose customers. Nice rustic atmosphere a place anyone can go to even if your dressed in plain clothes or work gear a place to feel at home isn't that nice? Oh I forgot to mention the meals well there great too! The only sad point I can say is I damaged my car reversing into one parking spot. The treated logs are not quite long enough, I grazed past one leaving red paint on it and scratching the rear passenger side bumper. This happen near the entry to the Tavern.The shopping centre ones are low and don't damage vehicles.

Always great food! Have had steak sandwich, fish tacos? Chicken burger. All deliciousNot the biggest fan of craft beer so would love a ginger beer on tap!Huge thanks to the young man behind bar - went above and beyond- got us darts/ pool cues, all to ensure a pleasurable lunch visit!

Lovely meals the barramundi in Thai broth was delicious also the Burger with patty and brisket was amazing.
