Revision of my previous review:If pharmacist Tommy Leung is on duty, best to just turn around and leave. This is the first time I have seen Tommy at this pharmacy and I found him incredibly rude, particularly when he threw a pen on the bench for me to use before walking away. Such a shame as all other staff I have encountered here have been wonderful, friendly, and consistently helpful.-----------Great range and the staff are always willing to go above and beyond.

I was very disappointed with the level of customer service. The staff member who served me clearly had no knowledge of the product I was considering and therefore did not inform me that it was not suitable for someone of my age nor was it compatible with my current medication. When I discovered the product was not suitable I asked for a refund but was told that would not be possible so I was obliged to phone the company who supplied the product for assistance. The company was appalled at the way I had been treated and was kind enough to contact the pharmacy to ensure that I did get my refund.

The pharmacist on duty arrogantly interrogated me about the use of an over the counter antihistamine/sedative used for the treatment of hives and the associated sleeplessness. I explained that I use it as directed, however he demanded I bring him a GP letter to purchase it in future. When I questioned his actions he petulently refused to sell it to me at all. So I went and bought it from another store, with sensible, friendly staff, who offered the standard precautionary advice and no problems, as is usual in other pharmacies. I have never been treated so badly in a Pharmacy.

Low prices on prescriptions. Staff have been fine. One time we even got a house call when my wife's father was sick, to show us all how to operate his new blood sugar meter - highly appreciated (that was the African pharmacist - he's a good-hearted man).

I find it odd reading the negative reviews here as whenever my husband and I go in, the staff are always friendly and courteous - they address us by name. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and there are signs on the doors that the senior pharmacy assistant has won major awards for her work and customer service. Maybe those disgruntled customers were not sure of what they wanted or where in a mood that day????

Top shelf this team is even if they’re doing discounted products, their service isn’t in anyway discounted.Chemist was very friendly and helpful in providing assistance, the store clerks were great at helping with any questions too.Brilliant selection of items and well set out, they sadly didn’t have the brand of baby formula that I go for, Bellamys Organic, but all else was good!

Staff are generally good and polite but most appear to have lost their smile, which I've found to be the case across several of their branches. Prices aren't as good when compared to chemist warehouse although they do price match if you ask about it.

High turnover of staff. Staff were great when I first came a year ago, but boy the new crew do my head in, patronising, slow, passive aggressive. Time to change pharmacies.

What would the Mitchel Chemist do without Matthew?I had problem with the so called store manager, whose name escapes me, who was most adamantthat nothing could be done her attitude was to say unprofessional.Mathew stepped in and resolved the problem with his kind and courteous manner.He has my yeah for the day
