Bob's is simply the best independent grocery store. Considering its relatively small size, Bob's has an amazing inventory of supplies/goods. Everything from bagels to turpentine! Over the past 5 months shopping there, I've found the staff to all be helpful and friendly although there is one star for me but I don't know her name. Be aware that on Wednesday afternoons the weekly replenished stock is being shelved!

Read all the 1 star reviews, this place clearly has a systematic problem!My experience: Poor behavior... Staff member at the register did her best to make me feel unwelcome whilst being normal with others who appeared local (making purchases before and after me).Unfortunately we stumbled upon this place randomly off the beach as it was close to the bus stop but I find it astonishing that a place dependent on tourist money is run like this. This amazing island is a tourist hotspot and almost everyone else I came across during the trip were very friendly and welcoming (Visited 14th March 2021 in the afternoon 3-5 pm)

Rude to those clearly on Holiday. Never coming here again. Go to bobs ice instead while you’re there. More polite anyway. Staff here won’t even acknowledge you, more worried about their little conversations. Terrible service.And to the older lady that works behind the counter. You need an attitude adjustment. For a woman your age its almost ironic.

It's a Foodworks. On an island. You don't exactly have a broad remit for choice here, so cop it on the chin and enjoy. You were going to no matter what this review said anyway, because... well, where else can you go? With an internal fitout that would not be amiss in a B-Grade post-apocalyptic production, a narrow main entry that affords the most intimate customer encounters, and a selection of products that predates the Great War, this Foodworks is the last bastion of guess it'll do" this side of the hemisphere. Extremely bad service. Man working there was speaking down to a young woman who was trying to simply enter the store and rudely told to put a mask on. She explained she had a medical exemption and did not have her phone on her to check in and asked if she could manually do it. He spoke terribly to her and made her feel extremely low in which she left the store crying. Would not give this business another dollar!

The young lady with blonde hair did not acknowledge me when serving me, There was no communication like Hi or How are you. She scanned my things and just continued talking to the other worker. This has been a constant occurrence with this women.She also told my friend to get out of the store after she’d payed before she even got to leave the store.Also they rudely told us to leave our beach bags outside although when we walked in lots of other people were carrying there bags and weren’t told to not bring theirs in. We felt singled out! We’d also done nothing to raise suspicion and have probably spent over $100 while being here.

Great store on straddie which is amazingly well stocked, and prices not much dearer than Brissy. Great variety of fresh fruit and veg and meat. Friendly owners ...big thumbs up
