Had our first lunch here today. We ordered Hainan Chicken Rice, Braised Pork Belly and Singapore Laksa. My wife said it tasted authentic, like what she had before in Singapore. Our experience was great and a value for the money. We'll definitely return when craving kicks in.

The quality is quite hit or miss at this location. Some dishes overdo the sweetness too.My favourite dish at this location is the laksa. The soup is tasty and the noodles are consistently good. Your experience will vary depending on the day. The sour plum drink is also quite good.

Decent price with decent meal. Feel super full after finish meal. Sour palm juice is good. But a little bit sweet. They have quick food service and friendly attitude.Staff:English, Kangtongness, mandarin are all available.Menu:They only have English menu.Overall, it’s a great experience and highly recommended!

I like this little place. It offers decent quality meat and good portion sizes for a good price given the location. Better for a quick lunch stop not a group catch-up as the tables are small and it’s crowded. But the menu offers some delicious options

This was our third visit to Hawker Walker, but first after pandemic, definitely the quality has dropped, and service quality has also dropped. Overall, suggest only the kueh tiaw. It was definitely better couple of years ago. Otherwise go to Nan Yang or Warong, all nearby.3 staff only - 1 chef, 1 serve rice, and prep meat and 1 cashier. There were 3 to 4 tables with plates left on table. No place to sit. The cashier desk is messy. Not sure understaffed or just not attentive.Ordered nasi lemak with chicken wings. Rice is normal rice, not cooked with coconut milk. 3 thinly sliced cucumbers, and sambal is also 1 tea spoon for the amount of rice. Chicken wings are nice. Cost of the dish is around $15. Please do not get this dish, unless they changed or improve the quality.Kueh Tiaw was nice, just as nice as I had it couple of years back. Taste as authentic. It has fish paste, prawns, chicken. Cost of the dish is also around $15. Highly recommended.A guy came in after us around 2pm, ordered hainanese chicken rice, was informed sold out. Please come early if you want it.

Char kue tiau was incredible delicious, with wok hay..You can't beat char kue tiau with this wok hay flavor. Hainan chicken rice just ok, rice was too soft. But flavor was great.

I had the hainan chicken rice and it was average. The chicken was lacking flavour, and the rice was glugy. The service was quick though, and reasonably priced.

I love the new look to the restaurant, always clean unlike most other Asian places. The theme of a hawker centre is certainly there and the location is great. The food is good but I’d like to see more noddles without the seafood and more of some other protein. The hor fun is great but the gravy needs to be more thick. The plum juice is delicious taking me make to my childhood favourite drink.

Laksa was good, except it would have been better with a different type of noodle. This one’s were too plain and not absorbing much of the brothy flavours. Soy bean milk was very good, very earthy and rustic. Giving that the restaurant is located next to the library, I would assume that students are their main customers. But the price isn’t student friendly at all. That is my only complain.

Went there with my gf for lunch today. My gf and I ordered Hainanese Chicken Rice and Clear Soup Yong Tou Foo respectively. I was blown away by how delicious the Chicken Rice is. The Yong Tou Foo is good as well but not exceptional.
