Worst customer service!! Also still billed when no service was provided. Have ported the service out on the day when the last billing cycle finished and new billing cycle hasnt started. Called up and staff said because it takes 30 days for cancellation to take effect. What effect? Service had been ported out to a new provider already. Exetel you should update your billing system and stop unreasonable charge.

If only I could give 0 stars. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Firstly they don’t tell you that you have to give them 30 days notice to cancel their service. Secondly I disputed this and their billing team give me a credit and confirmed I don’t owe them anything - I am now being chased by debt collectors stating that I owe exetel money. I have now had to report them to the Telecommunications Ombudsman and recommend anyone else experiencing issues with them to do the same.My id is 551898

You have to give these mongrels 30 days notice when you (inevitably) want to change to a better ISP. I specifically booked my new connection about 5 weeks in advance expecting that to be the notice"that Exetel need. It's not enough

Exetel dreadful service - Decided to give them ago ad they were offering a 6 monthly rate that was cheaper than mine. What a nightmare. Connection was made almost immediately. Problem was there was no internet. After being on the phone for close to two hours, I was told You need to go back to your provider as they have locked the Modem and we cannot gain connection. On calling my old provider they advised that that statement was not true and they do not lock modems. I had to speak to Exetel again and they advised they (belong) were lieing and that they CAN lock modems and i need to contact them to unlock. I asked EXTEL to cancel my account and I'll stick with Belong. They said "Thats fine but you must provide 30 days notice. So no internet for 30 days.If you are thinking about giving EXETEL a go

I switched my mobile plan effortlessly after one call to find out what I needed to do. It was simple and so far I've had zero disruptions to my service. I get way better cellular coverage now. Also had more plans to choose from so I'm saving heaps.

Didn't contact me a week after organising a new connection for my elderly relative.Spent ages on hold only to be told someone will contact me within two to three business days. They couldn't even tell me if they were able to provide a service.Pathetic.Then told my elderly relative would have to call if i wanted to cancel the subscription, even though i was down as an authority on the account.Avoid like the plague.

Not sure why review is so low, I have had issues with my network on the weekend and their Technical Support was fast to pick up the phone to help troubleshoot. Speed is good and never had any issues. Been with them for over 5 years now.

They do cheat. They made me unknowingly extended my contract and they denied that it was unfair and I had to involve ACCC to resolve that. But other than that the internet connection and support are good enough.UPDATE: I was wondering why Exetel has a very low rating, now I know. When you switch to another provider, they continue to charge you another 30 days for not using their service. They are the worst!

Deceptive conduct they say none plan is a no lock in contract, but in fine print charge customers one month notice period to cancel. Don't be fooled by excetel choose another company

An absolute JOKE! My internet company was purchased by Superloop some months ago and service and reliability went down hill FAST! So I changed after extensive research and found Exetel, only to discover they also are owned by Superloop and have now been charge for 2 months by BOTH Superloop AND Exetel. Constant emails back and forth and still no resolutions - An absolute disgrace and I have had more down time in the last 2 months than I have had with my original provider in more than 6 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
