I have tried many charcoal chicken restaurants in my life and this place easily tops the lot. The chips are amazing, great serving sizes, chicken is consistently fresh, and the owner is extremely hard working and accommodating.

Thought I'd give this place a go as my usual go-to place is closed over the New Year holiday period. Ordered via Door-dash at Midday, and as a new customer assume they'd probably dish up one of their better chooks in the Half-Chicken & Chips meal. Alas, it was not to be unfortunately.The Chicken itself presented with a very dark brown crust overall (which may be ok if it was freshly cooked, as I don't mind a nicely charred & caramelised skin) however it was bone dry throughout the whole chicken. The wing was essentially cremated and inedible. The whole thing reeked of this being a re-heated chicken from the previous day. 1 out of 5Chips, very well cooked and crispy however a tad over-salted for my liking but generally no major complaints. 4 out of 5.Can't say I'll be going back in a hurry.

Melbourne Cup day celebrations were enjoyed thanks to a great chicken lunch supplied by Charm'n Chickens. 33 people were catered for with delicious charcoal chickens and fine salads. Tom the owner recommended what we needed and he provided it to us right on time and ready for consumption. The feedback from all who participated was overwhelmingly positive. Well done Tom we will be back.

Went there to check out their chips as they'd been highly rated on another platform.They're okay, but unfortunate theres nothing that separates them from any other pre-made, bulk purchased take away chips.

I've had a lot of chips in my life locally and overseas, but the chips here are the best I've ever had. Unparalleled crunch, they just don't go soggy. Plenty of chicken salt. Insane value for money. Seriously, give their chips a go.

First time here - long time resident of Cheltenham - Waited 3or 4 minutes which was fine - had the Tradie " special which is 1/4 chicken and chips with a can - drove home - chicken was dried out obviously yesterday's - must have seen me coming - chips and drink were fine hence the two stars - cross that place off your list if you like chicken."
