Asian Pearl Chinese Restaurant
After waiting an hour & half the dishes we by far the worst Chinese we have ever had. Teriyaki chicken had no sauce with it & the very few vegetables that came with it tasted like they had just been microwaved & added to the plate. There was no sauce on them. The lemon chicken was disgusting- tasted like it had been cooked the day before with some lemon sauce over it. The chicken was tough. The fried rice was dry as - horrible. No wait service. You have to circle what you want on a cardboard menu & take it to the bar yourself to order. The 2 women working behind the bar were dressed as if they had just come in from working in the garden & were not very pleasant. In all Including 1 beer & 1 softdrink we spent $73.00. We could have gone home & made toasted sandwiches. Wish we had have. Will never go back.

A very typical Chinese restaurant in a country town. Food was very tasty, service good and generally a nice meal on a Sunday night.

We came on Sunday night and we were the only people dinning in.The lady at the reception said it won't be too long and I completely understand that they had lots of orders of pick-ups.We waited for over an hour and the food we got was very poor quality.Seems like the veggies were frozen and very shortly cooked.The food was over salted and as a respect to Chinese food (which I've visited the country myself) it's nothing to do with Chinese cosine.It's not really my business as well but the elder lady was very rude to her surroundings.Thank you but that was a once in a lifetime experience for me. Never again.

I travel for work, a lot! After a long day you just feel like some decent food before settling in for the evening. I haven't been to St George before but I'd have to say this is easily the best Chinese food I've had in the regions, and quite frankly in Qld as a whole. Reasonably priced, fresh and just perfect! The San Choy bow was amazing, I wish I could take a dozen pre made packs home with me. The beef and black bean was just as delicious. Well done and compliments to the chef

The food here is good +. Usually not to busy in the restaurant but very busy with take away. Plenty of choice on the menu. Parking is not a problem. Children are catered for.

So sadWas shoved a board and asked to circle what we wanted from the menu... nohappy wait staff... no G'day how are u and welcomeNine of that just shoved a clipboard .food overpricedLacked flavour... sloppy watered down sauces that tasted like ballsWhole place is filthy dirty including the utensilsPpl ( locals) seem to buy here because they know no better but legit the worst meal everEntree was burnt and inedibleMain was ok but we were given microwaved rice as it was clearly microwaved cold .....

Lovely staff, Bronwyn was so helpful with making meal selections, the food is tasty, the portions/servings are large and reasonably priced. we will try the take out next time

So good to have an Asian restaurant in a country town like St George. They have take away service and will deliver. Great menu and service was excellent.

Excellent Chinese restaurant. Top customer service from friendly staff. Delicious menu & great atmosphere. Good location in town for walking distance to nearby shops, pubs, motels & the river.

This place and dirty and the food is overpriced and not good. At the entrance of the restaurant we had to pass 3 vacuum cleaner until reached the bar where we could order. Everywhere are plastic flowers covered with dust. 1 out of 2 women at the bar was very impolite to us. The entire order and payment process takes forever because they still do it like in the 80th.On the photo that shows chicken teriyaki I ordered there for takeaway.
