Seriously good butcher & quality meat !Never had a bad purchase from Sam, he's super helpful & he & his staff are always friendly.

Wonderfully tender and tasty parmesan- and parsley-coated chicken breast schnitzel. Beef and pork mince is top quality. All somewhat expensive but well worth it. Good to finally have a good quality butcher. Sam, the owner, is always polite.

My favourite food is meat. I absolutely love meat. I have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world including a huge number of steakhouses. I eat meat every single night of the week.Now that I have established that, please accept that I am qualified to give an objective review on Meadow Meat in Crows Nest!I only discovered Meadow Meat a few weeks ago, however, I have officially made this wonderful place my new 'local' butcher irrespective of it's proximity to my home. Meadow Meat is worth traveling to no matter how far away you happen to be.Sam and his team are not only some of the most delightful people I have ever met in my life, they are exceptionally knowledgeable about all of their products and are always so obliging with my special requests every time I visit.Sam hand-picks the best quality cuts of meat and dry-ages onsite . His dry-aged meat is rich in flavour, nutty, buttery and always so tender and flavourful.Their prices are extremely reasonable, in fact, considerably cheaper than other big name" butcher shops which I won't mention on here.The photos I attached to this review are of the best rib-eye I have had in my life - Sam aged it for 4 months. Awesome butcher! Just moved to the area and trying different butchers around but nothing beats Meadow Meat at Crows Nest! Sometimes hard to grab a good Rib Eye simply because they go in a flash. Excellent quality and extremely friendly staff :)

Great place to buy Sausages and Lamb chump chops and Ham off the bone

Asked to have a whole chicken cut into pieces, and the response “we don’t do that”. Is it really that hard? You’ve got the best meat cleavers out the back and it would take all of 30 seconds. Even the butcher in Campbelltown would do it!

We've been a raving fan of Meadow Meat since they opened a few years ago. The meat is always the highest quality, the place is super clean, and the service is always on point.

While jogging from home to North Sydney I stopped by to buy some marinated lamb skewers. The marinated meat was so fresh and tasty after cooking. The customer service was excellent and owner was so friendly. I will recommend all my colleagues at work to have their purchases from there !

Great quality produce, but at a significant cost. Almost double to triple the price of supermarket meat prices, but not triple the quality :(There's better butchers out there! But if you're a Crowns Nest local you'll have to travel for the privelage.The Butcher inside Cross Nest Woolworths offers comparable quality and a significant reduction in price!
