Alex Seaside Resort

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. On a corner, almost opposite the skate park next to the surf club, so just a few minutes walk to patrolled swimming, with a beautiful outlook over the beach. Pauline and Dave the owners, were friendly, helpful and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was spotless, very well equipped and comfortable. Not brand new, but solid and well maintained. Beautiful pool on site. This is my new favourite place to stay.

Extremely disappointed with our experience. The room was extremely outdated. The wifi that they advertise to be available everywhere onsite was non existent in our room. The reception acted as though they were unaware of this and asked ME to call their WiFi company when speaking to the WiFi company I was advised that management of the resort are well aware of the ongoing issue as they do not have enough routers on-site, the receptionist who vlaims to be a manager was extremely unhelpful ober our three nights there, there was no effort made to fix the problem. The room was shabby and out dated there was a sign on one of the balcony doors saying don't open as it was broken. Another of general ware and tear stains on the carpet, marks on the wall and a broken cupboard in the kitchen. They also charge extra for everything including toilet paper, pool towels etc. 100% would not recommend. Over priced and outdated.

Easy to book and deal with. Got a great apartment with ocean views and spa bath, opposite the lift which made check in and check out easy. Good facilities, nice pool, great location. Have been before and would return again!

Beautiful views and walking distance to most things. Only real big downside was the wifi. It hardly worked while we were there

Managers Ross and Kay were so amazing ensuring everything was perfect for our stay. Apartment was fantastic with best beach views and heaps of space. Location was an easy walk to the beach, surf club, cafes and restaurants. I will definitely be going back again

Great location and had an amazing view from our room. Facilities are great and being so close to the beach was amazing :) definitely recommend

We had a 4 night stay at this motel overbooking the ocean.What I liked about it was we were on the 6th floor so you could see the ships coming and going, and I guess whales migrated at certain times of the year.Great walking along the beach.Walking distance to Surf Life saving club, tho friendly a bit expensive for what you got.Good Restraunts all in short Walking distance from our Hotel.I would re visit this area for a short stay.Also, visit the Marine Aquarium it was really great.
