A bit pricier than other yum cha places in Hurstville but comes in a bigger portion. Make it ideal for 4 so you can order more dishes and share. Premium quality and doesn't leave you too thirsty from msg.Staff can be a bit inattentive though but no big deal at all.

Awesome to see Sunny Seafood Restaurant reopen in Mortdale. Every dish is so delicious and the service is great for a busy restaurant. I’ve been both at yum cha and dinner service and they did not disappoint!

A new local Asian favourite. We had a wonderful experience at Sunny’s in Mortdale with great fresh quality seafood and service. Highly recommend the pipis in xo sauce which was our highlight and also the Singapore style mud crab. All dish’s were really delicious and cooked to perfection. We would highly recommend anyone looking to get Chinese to give Sunny a go. We will be going back to try the yum cha soon!

I dont like this Yum cha as a Cantonese. The taro tart is cold and oily. Prawn rice roll is plain in favor and the veggie bean curd roll is too oily. Overall, price is high. Also, 2% surcharge on card. Not recommended. Maybe their dinner is better.

The seafood is fresh, and it is cooked quite perfectly. All the staff there are very friendly and helpful. Already recommended it to my friends. We will come back and try more food here.
