Absolutely stunning! Such a chilled place to visit. Plenty of grassed areas to chill, nice food, and good atmosphere. The lighthouse is pretty cool, and the nudist beach a hidden surprise! You just visit South Head.

Beautiful walk to South Head. The history of the light house and the spectacular views are amazing. Easy walk not too challenging there are some stairs and some steep sections but not for very long

It’s at the tip of Watson bay, Campcove area, next to HMS navy preserved area but there is picturesque view trail to walk to the tip of the end of the land on the East. During the trail , I walk pass lighthouse, fortress with the base for the cannon, view of downtown Sydney and the Opera house. Walking pass the lady beach( informal nudity beach) is joyful with moderate temperature and flat landscape.

Honestly quite a beautiful area. Don't expect anything too much, but just enjoy whatever the place has presented to you. From the ferry station, you can talk a slow walk all through the residential area, towards the beach, up towards the lighthouse, and back. Very chill, quite a few things to see, snap some photos, and enjoy half a day of calm and serenity.There are some beaches along the way, and the Lady Bay Beach is a nudist beach, fyi in case.

Not crowded. So you can spend time to peace and quiet.When i visited here, the weather was cloudy. But very beautiful. If weather is good, you'll have better background and view of Sydney's city.

What a view! Great place to walk to from Watson's bay. Stunning view to city skyline and the cliffs at North head. Sometimes vegetation will be in the way of the lookouts :-)On the other hand, the vegetation will hide the massive military complex most of the time.

Great spot for a walk. Decided to explore up here after getting off the ferry at Watson Bay. The views are quite nice and there were barely any people there. There's some cool birds around, and the lighthouse has a bit of interesting history behind it. I'd highly recommend this if you want to check out the Sydney coast and looking for a casual nature walk.
