The sea was very rough here. I honestly don’t recommend swimming here. I even saw currents like waves circulating closer to the beach. There are steps to get to the beach. The beach has some rocks which are sharp enough to create wounds. Be careful as you walk. The view from the lookout here is great. You can see some ship wrecks on the beach as well.

Truly a must visit area when in the Innes National Park. Magnificent part of SA maritime history.Need to be fairly mobile to tackle the stairs. But the view from the top is stunning.Follow us on Insta:Our___Travels

Not sure if it was just the day we went or if it's regular but the massive waves added a lot of atmosphere to our time there. Should have brought our beach stuff and stayed for a while as you would have it entirely to yourself at times. Rare to have a beach with a ship wreck on it. Surprising to have access to a wreck that is now rusty metal shards sticking out of the sand where people are barefoot but enjoy it while you can.

Go explore what South Australia has to offer! Ethel beach is amazingly beautiful. Waves, wrecks and soft sand - what more could you ask for?!

Awesome beach with the Ethel wreck poking out. The random big piece is the old boiler from the ship.worth the effort walking down the stairs but a fairly steep hike back up the stairs. There is a viewing platform at the top as well

Magical views, the beach is stunning you truly feel like your at the end of the earth. The wreck on the beach is great to look at, and the stair case makes it easy to traverse the steep trip. Just a beautiful spot in Innes national park which is a must visit.

At first I felt a little disappointed looking down at the shipwreck on the beach until I noticed there were stairs going down to the beach. You need to be reasonably fit to climb the stairs. It was fascinating to see all the parts of the ship scattered across the sand. Impressive waves at this beach with beautiful cliffs. Out of all the places at Dhilba Guurunda Innes National Park- this spot was my favourite alongside Corny Point.
