A treasure at our doorstep. Gorgeous boutique winery with accommodation. Great location. Beautifully presented throughout and friendly staff. Great choice of wine at its tasting cellar. Offering a selection of delicious grazing platters and pizzas. Surrounded by beautiful vineyards, walking distance to Melba choc factory and Woodside Cheese, short drive to famous Hahndorf.A perfect place for a day trip or stay. A home away from home.

Fantastic spot for lunch with pizza, cheese and wines. Cheeky delicious ice cream to top off the lunch. Pet and kid friendly with chickens and deer's roaming around! Nice selection of wines.

Barristers Block Wines generously took on our booking of 20 people over the weekend on 24 hours notice when our other venue cancelled on us. Fantastic, fast and caring hospitality. We had the shared $49 set menu; there was a generous amount of food included for the price. If you are booking for a large group I definitely recommend this place, and a great place to stop for lunch on a wine tour!

They were one of the few open on Boxing day and we're so glad to have stopped in. It's a beautiful property with a small kitchen serving charcuterie and pizza (on boxing day. There's a bigger menu on normal days). Of course you come for the wines and they didn't disappoint! They have a lovely sparkling shiraz to start and some excellent 'museum' quality shiraz to finish. It was a wonderful visit and I would recommend it!

The movie night was a night to remember. We arrived at about 7pm, and was treated to a amazing sunset, framed by the beautiful vista of Barrister's Block gardens and accompanied by the exquisite music of Dylan Smith. Moving on to the centre lawn for the movie provided another incredible setting. The lawn was ringed with lights and plants, creating an ambiance of garden rooms. The wine was its usual excellence and the service attentive and professional. Five+ stars Barristers Block.

This has got to be hands down one of the best wineries, for both Wine and being Family Friendly! We had a family function for a 70th and the service was amazing, the food - high quality and plenty of it! Their pizzas are amazing and worth the $$ per head if you’re doing a function. Special thanks goes to the staff who were very attentive on the day we were there. Nothing was too much trouble! Thanks for a great afternoon out!!

Had my birthday here with some friends.The service was exceptional, they made a special plate up for my friends needs.Was lovely sitting outside listening to the live music, eating pizza, drinking wine and watching the animals walk around!A stop for sure on a wine tour or just for some lunch!

We went here on a Monday and had the SA Tasting Experience.The person serving us was very attentive to our booking and everytime we asked for something it happened.The food was great and the wine was awesome.The experience was interesting. Service was unfortunately not too speedy and there were issues with other patrons sitting close by which was pretty uncomfortable and could have been handled a lot better by management/staff.I found this review quite difficult because we were looked after very well with food and alcohol, but the experience was compromised by how staff spoke to other patrons.I would recommend this place for a wedding or weekend lunch/dinner.

Incredible Cellar Door in a beautiful location. The wine was amazing and the tastings were very well run. The food was delicious with fast service too. All the staff were super friendly and attentive - we will most definitely be back!

Whilst the atmosphere is lovely the food is just good like not bad just not amazing and at 52 bucks a head for a pizza each and one platter to share you ain't really hitting much value for money. Furthermore the reception by staff is just very clunky, one person directs you to another person who directs you nowhere and then you just kind of sit down and wave like a man drowning at sea to hopefully get someone's attention.
