What an awesome Japanese style cafe and dining experience. To be clear, I am reviewing the dinner time experience. The staff and services are friendly and prompt, the food are great and great choices of drinks. Ambience is great (maybe a bit too dim for my personal liking but I’m being very picky). We ordered almost everything from the menu and they were very good. The staff did warn us that it will be too much, which was why we decided to tone it down a bit. The portion size is reasonably generous, hence why it was too much. Overall great value for money and will definitely come back for more

This cafe has been on my mind for some time when I take the tram 75. Good cost performance and authentic Japanese food especially Teishoku"!! Miso soup was same taste as my mother made

Haiku is a trendy spot in an otherwise dull strip of shops. It has a stylish interior, professional staff, and funky tunes playing over the sound system. The all day breakfast menu features Western staples as well as a few Japanese specialities for those feeling a it more adventurous. The menu is a bit overpriced but the quality is good. The coffee is good but not great.

The shop was very packed. People, ingredients, groceries everywhere. I like food there. They were different from other places, quite innovative. Tea was not that great.

It’s always busy at Haiku.We ordered the Moreton Bay Bug Roll and Fish Tacos. The Tacos were great. The Bug roll was a bit disappointing. Lacked flavour and the bread roll was not fresh.Fresh juice was good.Good service.

My salmon plate looked nice and tasted great but nori was too small to wrap rice. I liked Sakura latte. It had a distinct flavour. I will bring friends next time.

Great cafe with very lively and cheerful vibes. I love their Japanese inspired menu. Food and drinks were delicious. Flavours were really on point and clean to the palate. Service was also fantastic. They even have a store next door selling Japanese products

We dined in the pet friendly courtyard for dinner and enjoyed all the food we ordered. All items were tasty and we’ll definitely be back. We found the portion sizes fairly variable, for example the deep fried cauliflower was plentiful but not many pieces for tofu. The sashimi thickness was not overly consistent as well. The fish taco was good but no real Japanese flair to differentiate it from what you get at your local Mexican restaurant.
